The apartment is 'traversant' (reaches from front to back of building) thus giving it a gentle breeze in the height of summer. The two bedrooms have balconies facing south and are overlooking Ave Georges Clemenceau. The living room has a delightful balcony looking onto a small private courtyard at the rear. The apartment is accessed by a coded doorway and features a glorious elevator in the hallway. The building also has a concierge.

Beach is 7 mins walk, with many designer boutiques, restaurants and bars on the doorstep.
Travel
7km to Nice International airport. The train station is a 10 min walk and the train fares to Monaco and surrounding areas are very reasonable indeed. Nice International Airport is 7km and can easily reached by bus - the cost 4 euro.
Further details
Nice is very much an outdoors city, a temperature that rarely goes above 95F in summer or below 40F in winter, it is an all-year destination and is as popular and lively in winter as in summer. From laying on the beach, soaking up the sun in summer, to a great base for skiing in the winter. Nice is a great walking city but you can always relax on the beach or in an outdoor cafe. If it's your first visit to Nice, and you don't have much time, you might find a guided tour useful. There are two possibilities, both close to the apartment. Cross over the Promenade des Anglais and head left in the direction of the port. After a couple of hundred yards you will come to the Petit Train (Little Train). This will take you through the old town and up to Le Chateau. A 40 minute trip costs 6 euros (children under nine 3 euros).

"This was our second stay at the property as we found it an excellent option for a family visit to Nice. The price compared even to budget hotels is good when travelling with another couple to share the cost. The location is excellent close to rail network, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment facilities are ideal when travelling with a child with a large supermarket at the end of the street. This property more than met our expectations being clean and spacious and gave us a real taste of French living in the city centre. Have recommended this property to friends who have also since booked and would recommend to others."
