Chez Teresa is an award winning, unique family run guest-house on the doorstep of the famous abbey where Richard the Lionheart is buried, and which is now a wonderful arts centre where classical and jazz music and Gregorian Chanting is programmed and also the visual arts. We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and are close to all main attractions from fabulous chateaux to sports and river life. Chez Teresa is shaped like a ship in avenue Rochechouart, named after one of the 36 Abbesses who in the past resided at the abbey. We offer two lovely guest rooms and a superb dining area brimming with exquisite French and English objet-d'art. We are passionate Francophiles from the Garden of England, and many of the paintings and crafts on display, are by French artists and craftspeople. At Chez Teresa we offer an eclectic mix of home-cooking, cordial atmosphere and creativity with an added option to attend a creative writing workshop if desired.
