A large 3 bedroom house with lots of space and a lovely roof terrace as well as a wonderful swimming pool with stunning views. This part of the Ardeche is quite rugged and peaceful but within easy reach of beautiful villages and towns. There are a host of excellent eateries close by, some are tucked away in little explored valleys. An ideal place as a base for walkers, cyclists and those into lazing by rivers in the summer months. The house is set in a small hillside hamlet.
The nearby( 8km) town of Largentiere has all necessary amenities ,while there must be 5 or 6 good restaurants within a 10km journey , though the markets provide such excellent produce you might prefer to use the well equiped kitchen and eat on the roof terrace during the summer. To the rear of the house you are immediately in the chestnut forest with many trails snaking their way around the hills for walkers, cyclists or even joggers.

Kitchen: A great place to get to work on produce from the local markets fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Large dining table and stairs leading up to the roof terrace.
Utility Room: Dishwasher, sink and washing machine.
Living Rooms: A large room with 2 large modern sofas one of which is a sofabed, plus chairs, TV, DVD and stereo. Plenty of books and also children's games!
Other: Small room looking onto the roof terrace with sofa, the terrace has a large slate table for eating and chairs for relaxing in the sun.

All linen is included. New towels and cleaning are carried out weekly.

The house has a large roof terrace which is ideal for eating on. The swimming pool is 7m by 3.7 and is surrounded by decking and shady areas.

Travel
Nearby town can be reached by bus but then its a 8km walk up hill or a taxi. A car is pretty much an essential, or a bike. Links to nearby Valance Montelimar and Nimes are good by plane or train.

I am a primary school teacher in London who along with this job has spent the last decade or more sorting out the house in France. Thank goodness for the long holidays! Rental income is presently helping to produce an olive orchard.
