Seignosse le Penon is small resort 5 minutes from Hossegor-during the summer months international surfing contents are held locally. This vibrant area appeals to young people and families due to the endless beaches, great surf and buzzy atmosphere. Locally there are shops, bars, bistros and a fabulous outdoor aqua park, skate park and kids' play area. Tennis courts and a golf course are also nearby. The pine forests make this an ideal location for walking & cycling. Super for a family holiday by the beach!

Notes on accommodation
This first floor apartment is comfortably furnished and well equipped. Relax in the lounge diner which opens on to a small balcony with bistro table & chairs. The lounge, diner and kitchen are open plan with a neat kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath with shower above. The bedroom has bunks and good storage. A hairdryer and CD player are supplied. Ideal for families and couples.

A small balcony provides an outdoor eating area - where you can watch the world go by while enjoying your wine!

Coast/Beach
Just a few minutes walk to a beautiful surfing beach - Seignosse Le Penon - Lifeguards during the summer months. 5 minutes drive to Hossegor town/beach.
Golf
Seignosse Golf course is of a super standard, and is less than five minutes drive away, or a 10 minute walk.
Special interest holidays
The surf is usually great here - much more power than the UK - of course nothing is ever guaranteed!
Travel
The nearest Airport is Biarritz - 45 mins. Fly Ryanair from Stansted.
Bordeaux Airport is about an hour and a half away, so is Pau.
The ferry ports of Northern Spain are also an option 2 - 3 hours away.
Distances
The high class resort of Biarritz is about 45 mins drive away and well worth a visit. You can also take a trip to up in to the Pyrenees mountains.
Further details
During the summer months it's a real treat to visit the local outdoor markets that sell delicious cheese, wine, local fish, as well as lots of other tempting specialities!
