Ideally situated ground floor two bedroomed property in the fashionable bourgeois area of Nice in the Musicians Quarter, for visiting the beautiful capital of the French Riviera. Close to all public transport, the main shopping centre, the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, and wonderful Nice can be reached easily by foot. The self-contained 70 sq m apartment is located on the ground floor of an imposing Bourgeois building. There is a good-sized main bedroom, an attractive lounge/dining room with adjoining lounge/2nd bedroom, separate fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bidet and separate wc.
Equipped with washing machine, microwave, TV (55cm), DVD player, double bed, two single beds, towels, bedding etc. Getting around: less than 10 minutes walk to promenade, main shopping area and to main railway station. Parking: "Place Mozart" car park a couple of minutes walk, 23.5 Euros for 24 Hours or 48 Euros for 3 days (10/2009), pro rata.

Notes on accommodation
Pets not allowed. Non-smokers preferred. Not ideal for babies/toddlers. There are two fans and the apartment is "traversant", meaning that it opens to both the front and back so that air can circulate freely through the rooms. Holiday tax is payable for adults (18 years and above) at the current daily rate (1€ from Nov 2011).
Gas central heating, all fuel and power included in rent April to October, €30 supplement November to March

Enjoy the numerous museums, special events such as the Jazz Festival or the colourful carnival in February with the huge floats filled with different personalities or the Battle of the Flowers.
The port area of Nice and the old part of the town reflecting the original and Italian looking aspect, with the superb flower market at the Cours Saleya, lined with fashionable bars and restaurants.

Booking notes
Prices are for the apartment weekly in UK pounds. Discounts apply to bookings of more than two weeks in length and late bookings made less than one month before date of commencement. Saturday commencement dates are preferred although flexibility is possible. It is also possible to take short breaks at negotiated rates. A refundable security deposit of 100 Euros is payable to the keyholder on arrival. A charge of €15 applies to key collection after 20.00.

We used the excellent public transport system to get around and made good use of our 7 day, 15€ unlimited travel passes which we bought at the airport on arrival.
