Recently converted from a former hayloft by its owner, an American architect, this first floor apartment is casual but comfortably luxurious. The main floor is open, with the kitchen, living room and dining room sharing one, large space. A guest room and bath are on this level. One flight of stairs up is the master bedroom and bath and a small open loft. The estate has a swimming pool and tennis court and there are a dozen golf courses in the area. It offers quiet country living near renowned Chateaux, medieval villages, cathedrals and the vineyards of the Champagne region, plus easy access to Paris.

Changeover day
Changeover day would be Saturday, with departure by 10:00 am and arrival not before 3:00 pm.

| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom with one king-sized bed. Guest bedroom with a trundle bed. The master bedroom is a romantic, attic room, with a large bathroom and closet attached. The guest bedroom is smaller, but charming and cosy. |
| Bathrooms: | En suite bedroom to Master with large shower, dual sinks and wc. Guest bath has shower, sink and wc. |
| Kitchen: | 2 under counter refrigerators, microwave oven, dishwasher, oven and cook-top and a stacked washer and dryer in a separate closet. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room is open to the kitchen and dining room. There are 2 sofas, a chair with ottoman and a desk. The dining table seats 6, plus there are 4 stools at the kitchen bar counter. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and bed linens are included. The house is cleaned once per week and includes linen and towel changes. A caretaker is always on premises at the Chateau. |

Chateau de La Trousse is a private, multi-family estate. Only a few homes are rented to tourists. Owners come here to rest and relax and enjoy their privacy and the quiet atmosphere of the estate. We ask holiday renters to respect this

Accessibility
The entry is at ground level, but the main level of the home is on the first floor, with another floor above. It is not a suitable rental for those who cannot manage steep, narrow stairs.

Charles De Gaulle Airport is approximately 40 minutes from the property.
Distances
Chantilly, Vaux le Vicomte, Fontainbleu are all within 30 minutes to an hour away.
The cathedral at Reims is 45 minutes drive.
The Route de Champagne begins about 15 minutes from the house.
The medieval villages of Provins and Senlis are both within a 40 minutes drive.
Disneyland Paris is 30 minutes from the property.

The town Lizy-sur-Ourcq is a 5 minutes drive and has 3 bakeries, a pharmacy, a supermarket, a bank, a hardware store and restaurants.
The Marne river is about 1km away.

50% due at booking, balance due 2 weeks before arrival. A 500 euro security deposit is required and is due with final payment. A 2 week minimum rental is preferred.
