Cigale is a large country house built in 1905. Its main internal feature is an enormous high-ceilinged sitting/dining room with a large 'inglenook' fireplace. Outside there is a veranda and patio, a fenced-off and alarmed 8 x 4m swimming pool, a sizable graveled Boule area and for shade-seekers, an enormous yew tree to relax under with a book on hot summer afternoons. For serious sunbathing, evening meals/drinks, sunsets and star-gazing there is a large child-friendly roof terrace with a commanding view of the surrounding area. The house also has Freeview satellite TV and Broadband. Cigale is 10 mins away from Ribérac, the focal point of the local area due to its unmissable weekly market on Friday, with supermarkets and several restaurants. Situated between Périgueux, Angouleme and Bordeaux, it is ideally placed for day trips and activities like canoeing, golfing and wine tasting. Cigale is child friendly and ideal for families who want to holiday together.

Living Rooms: There is an enormous sitting/dining room with an 'inglenook' fireplace, comfortable sofa’s and a table to seat 12 people. You will find a TV, DVD-player and Freeview satellite UK channels, and a computer desk with computer with broadband for our guests.
Other: There is a unique roof terrace overlooking the valleys surrounding the house, and you can see miles away! It is child-friendly and perfect for sunbathing, evening meals/drinks and night-time sunset and star-gazing.

The first sets of bed linen per person, as well as one set of kitchen linen per rental period are included in the price. If you wish to do so you can rent towel sets, as well as clean sets of bedlinen to be delivered during your stay on a weekly interval.

You will find fireguards, cots, high chair and booster seat, bed guards, stair gates, fenced garden, fenced and alarmed swimming pool, toys, books, games, a buggy and a buggy board, a hand blender, food processor, plastic plates, cups and cutlery, Tupperware, baby monitor, little chairs.

Cigale has a private swimming pool. This in-ground pool is 8 x 4 meters, and is fenced and alarmed. You will find a spacious patio and a large, fenced and shady garden. There is a big table to seat up to 12 people. You will also have use of a charcoal BBQ.
