Inside, the beautiful open-plan living space opens onto a sunny terrace with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Excellent facilities include air conditioning, WiFi internet access, new flat-screen HD TV, full SKY package (Sports, Disney, Movies, News,etc) & USB port for your movies, Italian designer kitchen (washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc).
3 large double bedrooms with new, comfy beds. The particularly impressive master bedroom (8m long) has superb sea views. The villa is in quiet gated community and you have free use of the wonderful 25m swimming pool, a 2-minute walk.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Lets are normally Saturday to Saturday. Longer lets and short breaks negotiable. During May booking dates can be arranged to suit the needs of clients attending the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.
Changeover day
Saturday is our regular changeover day but we can be flexible, particularly in the non-peak periods. In general we work around 10am departure and 3pm arrival but we always try to be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Med is air conditioned throughout. Hot air central heating for the cooler months. Satellite TV - full SKY package - Sports, Films, Disney,etc. BBC radio channels. WiFi - free unlimited broadband connection for your laptop. Large garden with lawns and plenty of space: shady and sunny areas to choose from.
Outside
Villa Med has a private heated jacuzzi ('hot tub') located in the garden. The garden also features a complete outdoor summer kitchen with BBQ, fridge, extensive worktop and double sink with hot and cold water. All of this is set in a jasmine bower adjacent to the large dining area. A two-minute walk brings you to the large domaine swimming pool. This is for residents only and is rarely busy, even in high season. It has a long shallow end for children and plenty of room for exercise laps. There are also sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and a boules court. Guests with children always appreciate that the pool is at a safe distance and has locked security gates. Children are thus perfectly safe, accompanying an adult to swim in the pool. In the villa garden, you have the private hot tub for a lovely warm water dip and some bubbly fun. Children love it!
Coast/Beach
Villa Med is exactly one kilometre from the beach as the crow flies. However, this would mean flying over the top of the tallest trees in the Vaugrenier National Park ! The beach is walking distance through the park or five minutes by car. There is a wide variety of excellent beaches in the area, including the legendary Juan-les-Pins. For a special day out, try star-studded St Tropez.
Vaugrenier Park is a beautiful green haven on your doorstep with picnic areas, fitness trails, bird-watching.
Golf
Fourteen of the Riviera's finest golf courses are within a 30 minute drive. The nearest is Biot which is walking distance away. Several of the top-class courses have hosted the French Open. See our villa website for further details.
Skiing
The classic French Alps ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron are one hour away by road. Both have excellent facilities and ski equipment can be hired. The drive is beautiful and there is also a daily returning bus service from Nice Airport and Antibes station. You can comfortably spend a morning on the pistes and be back at the villa for lunch.
Travel
Nice Cote d'Azur airport is just 15 minutes away in normal traffic conditions. The villa is very easy to find from the airport. A car is recommended to really enjoy all that the area has to offer. There is an excellent bakery / brasserie within walking distance for morning croissants or a very good lunch. Last time we were there, the 'plat du jour' was wild boar stew with roast chestnuts.
Distances
Charming Biot is the nearest village - 1km. Biot is a medieval perched village where you can buy your morning croissants and eat at one of the many friendly restaurants and cafes in the village square.
Antibes is 5 mins away by car : an fascinating provencal market, wide range of good restaurants and lively nightlife.
Glamorous Cannes 15 mins, Nice 20 mins, Monaco 30 mins, Italy and the Ski resorts 1 hour. There are excellent coastal road and rail links. Go by train to famous Ventimiglia marke
Further details
The Riviera has all the amenities you would expect of a famous holiday area. Villa Med is just 1km from Marineland, the 2nd most popular tourist attraction in France. Recent attractions there include swimming with dolphins - a lovely experience for everyone!
Antibes has a daily Provencal Market for locally-produced fruit, vegetables, fish, olive oil and other provencal specialities.
Villeneuve-Loubet village - birthplace of the famous chef Escoffier - has speciality traiteurs, butchers and restaurants.
All the major French Riviera attractions are here - beaches, marinas, cafes, restaurants, famous museums and art galleries, casinos, Jazz Festivals, nightlife...
There are also many fascinating ancient 'perched' villages nearby. These are a short drive inland and are famous for their winding streets, artists' galleries, cafes, restaurants and provencal markets - Biot, Villeneuve Loubet, Mougins, Vence, Eze, Tourettes sur Loup to name a few.

We have always loved the Cote d'Azur from the friendly old-world villages to the glitz and glamour of Cannes and Monaco.
There is so much to appreciate: the beautiful Mediterranean climate, the sea and the beaches, the myriad cultural events along the coast and the excellent restaurants.
During several holidays we spent time looking for a house and came upon this perfect location one summer, almost by accident.
There were no buildings on the olive tree terraces but we took one look at the view over the park to the beautiful Mediterranean and decided - 'yes' - this was the place to build our villa!
Now we are retired, we travel a good deal but are always happy to return to our lovely villa and the wonderful views of the sea. We're sure you'll love it too!
