Located in a semi-rural setting about 1.5 hours drive from airports at Nice, Marseille or Toulon.
The Var department has both beautiful landscape with mountains and fantastic coastline along the Mediterranean sea including resorts such as St Tropez, Frejus, St Aygulf, Saint Raphael. Our villa is situated between Moissac-Bellevue, a beautiful village perched at 600m with exceptional views and Regusse with its 15th/16th century restored windmills.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. Arrival time is 4pm onwards and departure time is 10am.

Notes on accommodation
Villa has electric radiators in most rooms and a wood burner stove in the lounge. The electricity and logs are included. Ideal two family villa naturally divides into two sleeping areas. Children welcome but sorry no pets allowed. Mainly on one level with one step down to two bedrooms and bathroom. Suitable for elderly/infirm and also wheelchair accessible. Two cots, two highchairs and shower seat for disabled guests available on request. No smoking allowed in villa. Wireless broadband internet access.
Accessibility
For wheelchair users the main entrance through to kitchen, lounge/dining room, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 are all on one level. The shower room in bedroom 1's en-suite will accept a wheelchair or use of the shower seat (available on request)and the shower tray is recessed in to the floor of this room. However, we do not have any handrails fitted. The outside terrace and eating area is also on the same level but the swimming pool is down a couple of steps.
Outside
Large woodland plot providing lots of shade, but uncultivated, and excellent for children to explore. A covered veranda with table and seating for 9 and barbecue overlooking pool. Sun loungers (9) and parasol surround the 8m x 4m heated pool (May - Sep) which has an alarm and is surrounded by fencing with access by latched/lockable gate. Boules area, security gates and covered parking.
Coast/Beach
We generally go to Lac du Sainte Croix for our beach days which is between 10 minutes and 30 minutes away depending on which part you head for. Situated at the end of the Gorges du Verdon this area offers activities such as sailing, canoeing, pedols, fishing. Heading to the coast Frejus is the nearest beach just over an hour away. We have visited out of season.
Golf
Golf course within one hour at Nans-Les-Pins.
Travel
The nearest airports are Nice and Marseille taking between 1.75 hours and 1.5 hours respectively. Car hire is essential. Driving time from Calais (excluding stops) is about 12 hours and the distance is approximately 1136 km.
Distances
A short drive away (approx 9km) is Aups a typical Provencal market town with all necessary amenities including shops, restaurants, cafes and a twice weekly market. Our villa is situated between Moissac-Bellevue a beautiful village perched at 600m with exceptional views and Regusse with its 15th/16th century restored windmills. Both are approx. 5 min drive.
Further details
Other days out could include the lavender fields situated on the plateau overlooking Lac du Ste Croix, Mousiters-Ste-Marie and Aiguines. Also Draguignan and Grasse, the world perfume capital. We are close to the Gorges du Verdon and Lac du Sainte Croix which offer activities such as sailing, canoeing, pedalos, fishing. There is a really convenient supermarket, Atac, situated in Regusse. During the season it is possible to walk to the end of our road where there is a little shop selling fresh bread and other essentials. Otherwise there is a lovely bakery in Regusse. A perfect situation for a drink at the end of the day is Moissac-Bellevue where there is friendly bar. Closest bank is in Aups along with a good selection of restaurants and bars.
Booking notes
30% deposit payable on booking (or paid in full if within 8 weeks of rental). Balance to be received 8 weeks before rental commences. Security deposit payable - £300 or €300. Directions, key instructions etc will be sent out within two weeks of rental.

...We truly loved our time in Villa Kashdan. It's decorated, equipped and furnished to a high standard, and it's very comfortable and spacious.
It's a great location for all that Provence and the Var has to offer. We spent most of our time enjoying the Lac du Ste. Croix, esp. pedalo picnics. We were really taken with Moustiers Ste. Marie and Esperran, which were both great spots to get in touch with and enjoy the local customs. The markets held in Regusse, Aups and Baudinard were fun to have a look around in. There's a lot to do and see, and the views are spectacular and breathtaking around the Verdon Gorge.
We'd recommend this property to anyone, esp. those with young children who love to explore gardens, like our girls! :)

...Nice and spacious place for families with small children. Even for two families. Car is a must. Lots of places to see nearby, especially for persons who like nature. Also nice markets nearby. Very nice pool area....
