The villa is 90 mins from the beautiful beaches of the Aquitaine coast including, Arcachon and Dune du Pyla Europe's biggest sand dune, a fantastic day out!

Property is 75 mins from Bordeaux airport, 50 mins from Bergerac airport. Ferry ports, St Malo is 5 1/2 hours, Cherbourg 8 hours.

Villa is set 1 mile from Monsegur with it bars and restaurants and ancient market square. There is also a fully equipped supermarket 1km away. The Chateau town of Duras is 4 miles away. Numerous interesting days out are in easy reach including the famous St Emillion for wine buffs and markets everyday of the week.

Nearest supermarket 1km, cashpoint, 1 mile, lots of excellent restaurants within a 10 mile radius. The villa is full of information for great days out so that no day of your holiday needs to be the same. There is also horse riding and go-karting nearby.

Elder daughter remarked, on arrival, “that of the countless holiday homes that we have stayed in over the the last 17 years, this was the only one that was far better than our home in England and was it absolutely necessary to ever go home!” It has been a splendid holiday. I can’t recall a time when we have enjoyed each other’s company as much and that is, in large part, a result of the space and comfort and the thoughtfulness and kindness of Elaine and Keith. The pool makes everything so easy. It took me a while to recover from a night out with Keith so perhaps it is better that we are going home, but aside from that I can find absolutely no grounds for contesting Jenny’s (eldest daughter) first impressions.
