With a 12x6m heated swimming pool, Le Cleuziou is ideally situated in glorious countryside, only 45 minutes from Lorient airport and the south coast beaches, yet surrounded by 18 acres of fields, with 2 streams, a lavoir and many mature trees, there are lawns with tables, chairs and barbecue and a games room equipped with table tennis table. Priziac is a small town with minimarket, post office, bars, restaurants and a hotel. It also prides itself on the Lac du Bel-Air which is over 100 hectares and used for swimming, boating and fishing during the summer months. The area is hilly and wooded with 2 rivers which tumble over boulders and offer good fishing. The quiet roads are suitable for cyclists, and the nearby hilltop town of Le Faouet has banks, a Champion supermarket and lots of other shops and restaurants. The Thursday Market in Hennebont is an experience not to be missed, the food on sale is amazing, both to snack on and to take home for later!

Notes on accommodation
Both cottages have oil fired central heating and wood burning stoves (logs supplied).
Outside
New for 2008! 12m x 6m heated swimming pool with chalet, patio and sunbeds. There is also a large patio area adjoining the cottages with garden tables and chairs and gas barbecues. Situated in a lane with no through traffic it is a very safe environment for children to play and explore. The games room has a full sized table tennis table and full laundry facililties. There is a badminton set and boules set for guests use and plenty of room for football.
Coast/Beach
Many beautiful beaches within 1 hours driving,the closest Lamor Plage 45 minutes away.
Special interest holidays
We have a relationship with a privately owned fishing lake nearby where you can fish for carp, rudd, roach, perch, pike and tench - for a very reasonable 12 euro day ticket to include hire of 2 rods.
Travel
Brest Airport is an hour and a halfs drive away, with cheap flights to Luton and Southampton. Dinard Airport and St Malo ferryport are 2 and a half hours away.
Distances
La Faouet with its picturesque covered market is 10 minutes away, Pontivy 20 minutes, Lorient 45 minutes.
Booking notes
We require a deposit of 10% at the time of booking, this is non-refundable. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. In the event of a cancellation after that date no refund will be made. You are advised to take out appropriate holiday insurance to cover unexpected eventualities.

'La Laiterie is the most well equipped gite we have ever stayed in. An idyllic central site give an ideal base for exploring a large area of Southern Brittany. Linda and Rex have a sincere interest in their guests helping them to have an enjoyable holiday. Charlotte enjoyed the horses dog and kittens. The best beaches are Guidel Plage and if you like surfing Point de la Torche near Penmarch, not to be missed.'
