The cottage is in the traditional fisherman's style outside but with a more contemporary look inside which includes a brand new kitchen. It is set in a quiet lane just 30 yards from the long sandy beach known as the "Lieue de Greve". The village of St Michel en Greve has plenty of amenities including a boulangerie, an organic grocer's shop a bar and three restaurants all within walking distance of the house. The town of Lannion is just five miles away and this is well worth a visit on market day. The cottage is close to the famous Pink Granite Coast with its spectacular pink and grey rock formations and there is a fabulous walk at Ploumanach through these rocks. There is plenty to do in the area from walking to riding to sailing. There are some wonderful coastal walks (two directly from the house itself). There are numerous uncrowded beaches all along the coastline nearly all of which are sandy. There is wind surfing and sand surfing nearby at Plestin Les Greves.

Changeover day
Arrival time on the Saturday is 4.00pm and departure is 10.00am. Some flexibility may be given depending on individual circumstances.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroon 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with bunk beds. |
| Bathrooms: | There is a bathroom with a hand basin and WC and there is a separate shower room. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, a fridge with small freezer compartment, a washer dryer and all the usual equipment such as toaster, coffee maker and kettle. |
| Living Rooms: | There is an open plan living area downstairs which has been furnished in a contemporary style. There is an open fireplace which is great in the Winter months. There are also electric heaters in all the rooms. There is a video player and CD/radio. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen is included in the price of the property but towels (apart from hand towels are not). The linen is changed on a weekly basis and the house is cleaned before and after stays. It can be cleaned during the stay at an extra charge. |

Outside
There is a small courtyard outside the property and a terrace with table and chairs. There is also a barbecue.
Coast/Beach
The cottage is just yards from a 4km stretch of beach which goes in a horseshoe shape round to Plestin les Greves. However, the whole coastline in both directions is full of sandy, uncrowded beaches. There are easily enough beaches within ten miles of the house to go to a different one every day during a two week holiday.
Golf
There is a golf course at Pleumeur Bodou which is about 10 miles away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Brest which is approximately 45 minutes away. Ryan Air usually flies here during the Summer months. About an hour and half away is Dinard airport where Ryan Air flies all through the year. The port of Roscoff is only 45 minutes away and St Malo is an hour and three quarters away. The drive from Calais takes about 6 hours. A car is recommended. If flying, there are car hire companies at both Dinard and Brest airports.
Distances
The cottage is situated in a village with a boulangerie and small grocer's shop. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away by car. The town of Lannion is about 5 miles away which contains large out of town shops such as hypermarkets and clothing shops but also within the town centre there are the usual range of shops as well as some lovely historic buildings. There is a fabulous market here once a week. Further afield are the towns of Morlaix to the west and St Brieuc to the east.
Further details
There are plenty of activities in the area for both old and young alike. There are the beaches where swimming is safe. Alot of these offer watersports from wind surfing to sailing and at Plestin Les Greves (3km away from the cottage) there is sand surfing. There are also boat trips from Perros Guirec in particular. Away from the sea there is horse riding close to the cottage and also bicycle hire. For the children there is a water park (Amoripark) at Begard, Cosmopolis at Pleumeur-Bodou which includes a telecommunications museum, a gallic village and a planetarium, and there is a fine aquarium at Brest. Further afield there is the Lac de Guerledan which is a 150 acre lake offering fishing, swimming, sailing, kayak hire, mini golf and a children's playground. There are also many towns nearby worth visiting including Loqueirec with its small harbour (7km from the cottage) and further away St Malo with its citadel walls and walks around the ramparts.
Booking notes
The cottage is usually let from Saturday to Saturday but we can offer more flexibility out of the Summer months. a deposit of £100.00 is required at the time of booking and the final payment two weeks before departure.
