Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Inclusive of cleaning, bedlinen, towels/pool towels and pool maintenance. Rental includes electricity, gas and waster consumption. Electricity is charged according to metered usage between 1 Oct and 15 Apr. Wood for the fire in the lounge is charged according to usage. Broadband is free. Emergency local phone calls. A deposit of 25% when booking. A £400 returnable security deposit against breakages. Discounts available for longer winter lets.

Changeover day
In high season the changeover day is Saturday. The house must be vacated by 10am that day in order that it can be prepared for incoming guests. Arrival after 4pm.

Accessibility
The house has one bedroom which can be accessed from a level outside terrace, therefore making it suitable for wheelchair users or those with a mobility problem. This bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom.

Outside
Private pool 12m x 6m which is fully enclosed to ensure the safety of small children and pets and is maintained weekly. Set in 4 acres of gardens/meadow, with its own water basin and shallow stream which runs along one side of the garden. Small children will need to be supervised near the stream. Large south facing terrrace partly shaded by a canopy covered with vines and wisteria. Small private terrace by bedroom 2. Full compliment of tables and chairs situated on all terraces. Comfortable loungers with umbrellas. Webber Gas BBQ.

Coast/Beach
A car journey of 30 mins takes you to Lac St. Cassien, ideal for young children with its beaches, pedalos and restaurants. Lac St. Croix and the spectacular Gorge du Verdon are a 45 min drive away. There you can go rafting, sailing, climbing or for wonderful walks. It is 30 miles to St. Raphael on the coast and St. Maxime, 35 miles to St. Tropez.

Golf
There are 2 championship courses within 30 minutes travelling time at Fayence and La Motte.

Travel
A car is essential for a stay at La Maison Blanche.
Airport: Nice 45 miles (75 mins). Toulon 45 miles (75 mins). Marseille 90 mins.
By Car: Via Channel Port to Aix-en-Provence and A8 to Le Muy. Approx 730 miles from Calais.
Nearest Railway Station: Les Arcs, 15 miles. London to Paris/Paris to Les Arcs.

Distances
The village of Bargemon is just under 2 Km from the house. A short-cut walk will take you about 10 minutes.
Draguignan a market town is 12 miles away.

Further details
Bargemon is a charming and picturesque village which retains the original 12th Century gates and fortifications. It abounds in fountains, shaded squares and restaurants where you can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. It has a small weekly market and boasts two boulangeries, a small supermarket, a butcher, newsagents, tabac, greengrocers, florists, bank, dentist, doctor's surgery and a pharmacy. There are many beautiful medieval hilltop villages nearby, each have their own charm, most have a weekly market. Tennis is available in Bargemon and boating at Lac St. Cassien. There are many good walks nearby and for the really energetic a Grande Randonee along the base of the Gorge du Verdon or, for those not so energetic a drive along the spectacular rim of the gorge. Cycles can be hired in Bargemon. Skiing is possible in the Southern Alps, 1hr 30 min away. The coast and beaches are within easy reach, as are St. Tropez, St. Raphael, Cannes and Antibes. There are Cote de Provence wines to sample at Figanieres and perfumes to sample in Grasse. A car is essential to explore this wonderfully unspoilt area of Provence and also enables you to sample Provencal cuisine in the many and varied restaurants.

Booking notes
A 25% non-returnable deposit is required on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. We also ask for a security deposit of £400 to cover any breakages and damage. This will be returned to you 2 weeks after your stay less any charges.
