Easy access to coastal resorts and beaches. The swimming pool is heated and discreetly positioned so that it is not overlooked by neighbours. The villa is situated on a lovely, quiet domaine. The historic town of Vence boasts a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops within a picturesque, medieval walled old town, hosts a music festival throughout the summer and is best known for the small chapel painted by Matisse.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is set within 1,500 sq metres (1,800 square yards) of well-kept lawns and gardens replete with mature olive and fig trees, pink and white oleander hedges, towering pine trees and flowering vines trailing over the ironwork. In the orchard there are almond, apricot and mulberry trees, some over 200 years old. The comfortable upper terrace affords panoramic and unrestricted views to the sea.
Outside
The private pool is 9 metres (30ft) long by 4.5 metres (15ft) wide, heated to an average temperature of 28C (86F) and is regularly cleaned and maintained. It faces south-west, so gets the sun all day.Pool has been secured by white picket fence which can be locked. Very child friendly. Pool heating is activated between May and October. Six sunbeds and two spacious, fixed white canvas parasols.
Coast/Beach
The main coastal resorts and beaches - Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Juan-Les-Pins - are all within a 40 minute radius by car.
Travel
The nearest airport, Nice, is about a 40-minute drive from the villa.Car hire is essential.
Further details
Cannes, Antibes, Juan-Les-Pins, Nice, are all within easy access as is the neighbouring hillside village of St Paul de Vence, home to the famous Colombe D'Or restaurant, and the very pretty enclave of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Two major shopping complexes in Antibes and St Laurent du Var are 30 minutes away off the A8 autoroute. Vence is on your doorstep and convenient for banks, food shops, English daily newspapers and the best food market in the area.
