Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in Euros.
During off-peak periods, short stays of three nights or more considered, provided they start either Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Price 200 euros per night.
Changeover day
Arrival days are normally Saturdays, after 5pm, but can be flexible by prior arrangement. Short breaks considered. 3 nights minimum stay at the off-peak periods, provided they start Saturday, Sunday or Monday night. Long rentals considered.

Burgundy is famous for its wonderful wines; you can go to one of the regions many vineyards, have a guided tour and then take part in the wine tasting. If its history that you are after, then visit the old Roman town of Autun, where you can still see part of the ancient roman walls standing. Visiting Dijon is a must, stroll through its pedestrianised streets and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic town. Booking notes
To check availability or to reserve and hold a booking for 3 days, please contact us. All reservations will be held for 3 days pending receipt of a deposit of 350 euros per week (or full payment if appropriate) together with a signed booking form. All bookings require a security/damages deposit of 250 euros payable at the same time as the remaining or full balance. Payment can be made via Paypal credit cards or by bank transfer.

About the owner
Mary and I worked in the film and television industry as creative technicians. I travelled the world and stayed at a great variety of places. When we came to design our gite, my experience helped a great deal to select that was best and most comfortable in the places where I found myself from Huddersfield to Hong Kong.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Mary and I retired in 2004 and attracted by the stunning scenery we found in France, we moved to the Natural Park of Morvan in Burgundy where we have found the most beautiful view over the Lake Panneciere.
We decided to create a gite which is comfortable, modern and provides everything we would like to find when we are going on a self catering holiday. In addition, we ask all our guests as they are leaving if they can think of anything that would improve our gite.
Our guests for the past two years have confirmed that we succeeded in providing everything they could possible want to find in a gite.
This makes us happy owners of a most successful gite.
Unique benefits of the property
Our home and our gite is situated over the Lake Panneciere, over-looking the valley and the hills in the distance. The property is just off the main road sufficiently not to hear the traffic and our road holds very little traffic. This means that apart from the occasional car or tractor we enjoy absolute peace and quiet. This is something all our visitors comment on and persuade them to make return visits to us.
