Recently converted, this gite is spacious and has spectacular views. On the first floor is the master bedroom with double bed, bedroom two with twin beds and a bed-settee and a bathroom with luxury shower, basin and WC.
On the ground floor is bedroom three with twin beds and en-suite shower and WC - suitable for wheelchair users. A spacious living/dining area with radio, TV & DVD player;
a fully fitted kitchen including cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Outside is a private terrace area with BBQ & dining furniture and access to the swimming pool. Separate laundry room with washing machine. Wi-fi Internet access.

This gite commands wonderful views stretching across to the Aveyron. The comfortable living/dining area is equipped with radio, TV & DVD player; fully fitted kitchen including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave.
On the first floor are 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin (space for 3rd bed or cot) and a bathroom with luxury shower and WC.
Outside is its own private terrace area with BBQ & dining furniture and access to the swimming pool. Separate laundry room with washing machine. Wi-fi Internet access.

 

Notes on accommodation
Both gites are suitable for families and cot, stair gate etc can be provided if required.

Accessibility
'Helen' gite is suitable for wheelchair users. The ground floor includes a twin bedroom with en suite 'wet room' with shower, basin & wc. All doors are wide to allow easy access. The terrace and path to the pool are smooth. The pool has 'roman' steps rather than 'ladder entry'.

Outside
Each gite has its own private terrace with table & chairs plus BBQ.
The spacious grounds include grassed areas for playing and the 10 x 5m swimming pool with large sun terrace is fully enclosed to meet the latest French law, but designed to keep the uninterrupted stunning views.

Coast/Beach
There is a large lake nearby with a beach, safe bathing, sailing and other water sports. The Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts are a little too far to just "pop down to the beach" but can be reached in 3 hours for the intrepid!

Golf
There are 3 x 18 hole courses within easy reach. 2 at Albi and one at Rodez.

Skiing
Dry ski slope at Cap'Découverte - 25 minutes away!

Travel
Both Toulouse and Rodez airports are within easy reach and offer a wide range of flights. Choice of car hire available at the airports.
We are also reachable from the Channel Ports in one day, distance and times dependent on the port.
Also, travelling by Eurostar/TGV to Toulouse is another option for those who do not like flying.

Distances
Our local villages of Tanus and Pampelonne are just 10 mins away. Carmaux (20mins) has a weekly market.
Albi - the 'capital city of the Tarn is just 25 minutes away with its famous cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and pedestrianised shopping area with an array of shops, cafes and restaurants, meandering streets and mysterious passages.
Nearby we have many "tourist attractions" from bastide villages & vinyards to the Millau bridge (tallest bridge in the world).

Further details
Banks, post office, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, are all within easy reach from Masmajou.

Reservations can be made by email or phone, you will then be sent a booking form to be returned with a 10% deposit. Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the holiday date.
