Villa built in traditional Mediterranean style and easily able to accommodate 7 people. Comes fully equipped with linen provided. Open-plan lounge and dining room with French doors leading to garden. TV/DVD, WiFi and telephone. Kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and washing machine. Bedroom (double bed) with shower. Upstairs has one double bedroom and one bedroom with 2 single beds. One bedroom with large single bed. Bathroom. Separate toilet. All bedrooms have fans, duvets and pillows. Outside has ample garden furniture and a barbecue, as well as a private area for sunbathing. Shared use of magnificent 25m swimming pool and tennis court located directly opposite the property. The swimming pool is open for approx 12 weeks from mid-June to mid-September, whilst the tennis court is open all year round. There is a table tennis facility inside the pool area, which is furnished with tables and chairs, and there are also shaded areas.

Changeover day is normally Saturday, but out of peak season please ask, as we may be able to accommodate different days.

Coast/Beach
The coast is a 15 minute drive away, with some of the best wide, sandy beaches in the South of France at Argeles. The whole coastline inspired French and Spanish painters; Picasso, Chagal and many other impressionists were resident in the area.
Travel
Le Boulou is well served by airports, the nearest being Perpignan and Girona (Spain). However, Toulouse, Carcassonne and Montpelier are all a 90 minute drive away; even Barcelona at a drive of two hours is not out of the question.
Distances
Nearest town is Le Boulou, approx 1 mile. It's a bustling little place which is developing a cafe society. Ceret, the cherry capital of France and a haunt of painters such as Picasso, is 10km away. A beautiful medieval town, it has an extremely popular Saturday market as well as a much-acclaimed modern art museum. The eastern-most Cathar castles are within 45 minutes and Perpignan the regional capital is a 25 minute drive. Barcelona is 2 hours away by car.
Further details
Le Boulou is the nearest town and is well-served with a variety of shops selling local produce. The main supermarket is located on the edge of the town; there is a small weekday market. It also has several restaurants/pizzerias.

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know we had a fantastic holiday at your beautiful home. It far exceeded our expectations & it's so much bigger than we thought from looking at the pictures on the website. We had also expected the outside area to be quite small, so you can imagine our surprise when we saw the lovely 'star' patio area.
The pool was very impressive & we spent many an hour cooling off up there. So, all in all, everyone had a great time & everyone wants to go back sometime, so don't be surprised to hear back from us! Tracey 2006.

Memorable as well for fabulous accommodation, a marvellous pool & a wonderful area of France. It is a delightful house, so well equipped and comfortable – and quiet!! Our fears about the shared pool were totally unfounded what a size. Dave 2010
