The house is ideal for children with its large garden, play fort (swings, slide), football goal, basketball stand, tyre swing and orchard. The coast and its excellent beaches under 30 miles away. Dinard, Val Andre, Dinan, St Malo and Josselin are within easy driving distance.

Outside
The house has a large garden and an orchard with apples, pears, walnuts, hazelnuts, peaches and grapes. The grass in the orchard is left 'semi wild'. Also in the garden is a large wooden climbing frame (for children up to age 11) with a 3m wavy slide, monkey bars, a child's and baby swing and a trapeze bar. Due to previously being a farm smallholding there remains the concrete base to a barn in front of the house - now used as a hard play area for football and basketball.
Coast/Beach
The elegant resort of La Val-Andre with its long sandy beach is within easy reach (27 miles) together with with the many fine beaches, fishing villages and coastal walks of the Cote D'Emeraude.
Golf
There are several golf courses along the coast but Golf de Val-André is one of the closest as well as being one of the best.
Travel
St Malo, 41 miles. Roscoff, 92 miles. Dinard Airport (Ryanair), 36 miles. A 20% discount on Brittany Ferries 'standard' charge is available.
Distances
St Vran has a boulangerie, bar and restaurant. The closest place for everyday food shopping is Merdrignac (4 miles), a typical small Breton country town. There are a dozen or so shops, a few bars and restaurants, a supermarket and a public swimming pool with water slide.
Close by are the medieval towns of Dinan (27 miles) and Josselin (24 miles) as well as the unspoilt local countryside, forests, lakes, castles, walks, markets and festivals of the Cote d'Armor.
