The chalet is approximately 10 minutes drive up the mountain from St. Gervais, an attractive C19th spa town, with numerous restaurants, and some good shops and 15 minutes from the pretty town of Megeve. A further 7 minutes up the mountain takes you to the skiing of Le Bettex, where there are small number of restaurants, nursery slopes and ski schools, and the Gondola up to the main skiing area above Megeve. In the summer this is also great walking country , with spectacular views, and in the town there is an open-air swimming pool, tennis, mountain bike hire, and other attractions.

Change-over day is usually Saturday.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have balconies with a view of Mont Blanc, double beds, and en-suite bathrooms. Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have twin beds. Bedroom 5 has bunk beds (large enough for tall adults). |
| Bathrooms: | There are two en-suite bathrooms, with baths and shower fittings. There is an additional family shower room, and a downstairs lavatory. |
| Kitchen: | There is an open-plan well equipped kitchen, with a cooker, fidge/freezer, microwave, and dish washer. |
| Utility Room: | There is a boiler room with washing machine and tumble-dryer and shelves for hiking or ski boots. |
| Living Rooms: | The large living and dining area has a TV/DVD player, Hi-Fi, and open log fire. |

Accessibility
The chalet is ideal for families of all ages, but might not suit people with disabilities. Because the mountain road and the drive to the chalet are steep, snow chains are strongly recommended in the winter.
Outside
There is a good sized garden, with a slope useful for sledging in the winter! For the summer, there is out-door furniture and a barbecue.
Golf
The nearest golf course is the lovely mountain golf course at Megeve.
Skiing
The closest skiing is at Le Bettex, about 7 minutes further up the mountain, and where you will find parking. There are nursery slopes, and two ski schools - ESF and International. Le Bettex is at 1400m, and the snow is usually very good here. The gondola from Le Bettex takes you up to 2500m, and with the ‘Evasion pass’ you can enjoy quite a large ski area above Megeve. (You can ski down to Megeve.) There are plenty of easy and wide intermediate slopes, many with views of Mont Blanc, and good fast lifts. If you are after really challenging skiing, there are off-piste opportunities locally and you can also buy the ‘Mont Blanc regional pass’, and if you wish head to Les Contamines, 20 mins, Les Houches, 25 mins, or Chamonix, 30 mins.
Travel
The chalet is approx. 1 hour 15 mins from Geneva airport. It is also an easy drive from Calais, being motorway virtually all the way.
Distances
St. Gervais is about 10 mins from the Chalet, and Megeve about 15 mins. Les Contamines is about 20 mins, Les Houches 25 mins, and Chamonix 30 mins.
Further details
A small store for provisions can be found 5 mins up the mountain. St. Gervais has many restaurants, and a small supermarket. Megeve has countless restaurants, and a more major supermarket.

Bookings can be made by contacting the owners by phone or e-mail. A 20% deposit is required to confirm, and the balance is payable 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
