Outside
Within the grounds is a beautiful pool complete with a waterfall and Jacuzzi surrounded by exotic plants and natural stone. The large pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers tables and chairs.
Travel
There are several budget airlines such as Easyjet that fly to Nice. Car hire over the Internet is very reasonable and Gattieres is only 20 minutes drive from the airport.
Further details
Gattieres is a 12th century medieval village perched above the Var valley. It has everything one requires such as supermarket, butcher, baker, newsagents selling English papers, bars and several restaurants. Gattieres is centrally situated to visit both the coast and the mountains which make it very popular with both walkers and cyclists. Nice is 20 minutes away and as the fifth largest city in France has everything one could want.
Booking notes
A security deposit of 300 euros or £250 will be required on arrival. Subject to no serious damage, it will be refunded on your departure.
All rates include electricity, central heating, linen and towels (except for beach towels).
Rates are quoted in euros, and we would prefer euros currency, payment in UK pounds is also accepted.
A deposit of 30% of the rental will be due at time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable. Insurance cover is strongly recommended.

The view from the terrace is spectacular - looking out over Gattieres to the mountains at sunset was stunning.
