All the floors are tiled in rich terracotta and blue and the doors are plain pine giving the villa a warm country look.

children welcome, pets not allowed, suitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair inaccessible.

Outside
French windows open from the living room onto the terrace which is furnished with table and four chairs for outside dining. A verdant lawn and flower gardens surround the villa. Secure parking is available if needed.

Beaches and shops only 5 minutes walk, close to Cap d'Antibes.

Isola 2000 ski resort usually open from Dec to April, 1.5 hours drive away. Greoliere Le Niege is 1 hour's drive away.

Travel
Nice airport is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the house, but there is no need to have a car as local transport is frequent as well as the local train station which is only 3 minutes' walk away. Car hire would be recommended for inland sight-seeing, but it is not essential. Should you wish to hire a car, the domain has secure parking.

Distances
Cannes with its famous Film Festival is only two stops on the train about 10 kilometres away; Nice with its museums and colourful flower lmarket, only 20 kilometres: Ventimiglia market is a 'must'; Inland there are the perfumeries of Grasse to see, the Gorge of Verdon, the vineyards of the Luberon, the medieval villages of Gourdon with its paragliders and amazing Eagle's Nest restaurant, St Paul de Vence with its art galleries, Monte Carlo and the Palace, Casino, the Café de Paris and much more.

Further details
Riva is situated in the heart of the village, in a residential and quiet area, yet within walking distance to all the lively night-life, the golden sandy beaches, the multitude of chic boutiques and so many excellent restaurants that are available nearby. Local supermarkets are within walking distance from the villa and they are also open on Sunday mornings. Take-away BBQ chicken and pizzas close by too!
Banks and cash points are just down the street.
Famous for its Jazz Festival (July 16 - 25), on the edge of the Cap d'Antibes and close to the medieval walled town of Antibes. Sporting facilities are excellent, with watersports, wind-surfing school, parasailing, diving, fishing, yacht charter, and tennis.
