Dahouet is famous for Coquille St Jacques, oysters and mussels as well as lots delicious fish which can be bought on the Quay fresh from the sea. There are several cafes, bars, shops and a traditional French bakery. Val Andre, a short walk away, has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as a thriving local market and casino.

Pleneuf Val Andre golf links are situated on the sea front and have spectacular sea views, considered to be one of the finest courses in Europe with their spectacular eleventh hole. Club hire, golf bag and buggy.
