Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in pounds sterling. Saturday to Saturday basis.Access to the Villa on the first Saturday after 4pm. Vacate the following Saturday by 10am.
Changeover day
Generally on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Guests arrive after 4pm and vacate the following week by 10am, just as the changeover staff are arriving. Depending on season, we may be flexible, so please just ask.

| Kitchen: | Oak kitchen. Gas hob, extractor, electric oven and grill. Dishwasher, fridge with small freezer and microwave. We supply a welcome pack and stock the fridge and cupboards with all the necessaties to start you off, so when you arrive, you're on holiday. |

| Living Rooms: | There is a 34 foot lounge through to dining room, with stripped wooden floors, rugs, ornate ceilings and spectacular fireplace, especially when lit. Oak dining table which seats 10. There is TV/DVD/Video/Hi-fi with cds, videos and dvds for you to use. |
| Other: | There is a pool room with a complimentary stocked bar for you to enjoy, including 2 bottles of Champagne, 2 bottles of wine, 24 bottles of lager, soft drinks for the children, along with crisps and chocolate. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
We provide clean linen and towels. These are changed once a week. Should you require any more, this can be arranged for a nominal charge. We provide robes for up to 6 adults in your party, along with luxury toiletries from Gilchrist & Soames for all. |
Notes on accommodation
This is a beautifully restored villa, with lots of space for all ages to relax and enjoy. We have left toys (in the old war chests) books, DVDs, CDs and videos for all ages to enjoy.
Accessibility
Although, the bedrooms are located on the first and second floors, we could move the pool table and put a sofa or fold up bed/beds in there, if there were difficulties for people accessing upstairs. There is also a downstairs toilet and sink.
If you have any requests, please ask, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Outside
Lake View Villas sits within a large private garden, perfect for relaxing, playing, eating and laughing together. The minute you arrive the children can go on the timber play frame with a slide, rope and swings etc. Barbecue, table tennis, swing-ball, badminton, boules and football facilities are all provided. If your children like playing hide and seek, they'll love this and so will you, while you have a drink in the sun and they let off steam under the giant rhodedendrum and camelia bushes.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach, Carentec, is 45 mins by car from the Villa. All of Brittany's beautiful coastline is accessible from Lake View Villas, it having a central position in Finistere. Places to visit are Locqueric, Perros Guerros on the north shore. Don't miss the opportunity to take a boat trip to the Ile de Brehat, where cars are forbidden and the beaches are stunning. Dournanez and St Anne Le Palud to the west. Benodet, Fousenant and Carnac to the south. Also, visit Lac du Drennec (10 mins).
Golf
There is a 9 hole golf course at Carhaix. This is a mere 10 minutes drive away by car.
Travel
Fly to Brest - 50 minutes by car to Villa.
Flybe from Birmingham, Southampton, & Exeter to Brest.
Ryanair from Luton to Brest & Dinard, Stansted to Dinard
Brittany Ferries go from Plymouth or Cork to Roscoff, and Portsmouth to St Malo.
Condor Ferries go from Poole or Weymouth to St Malo.
Speed Ferries go from Dover to Boulogne. Cheap.

Distances
Inland there are woodlands and river valleys, and charming historic towns and villages to visit. Morlaix (20 mins by car) is a large, historic French market town with an impressive viaduct, marina, shops and restaurants. Locronan could be described as a Cotswold village with a French twist. (35 mins by car) Just south of Locronan is the city of Quimper (1 hour by car) - great for shopping or cruise down the beautiful Odet river. Don’t miss the prehistoric standing stones at Carnac (75 mins)

Situated in the Parc D'Amorique, Huelgoat sits on a beautiful large lake and is well known for its spectacular scenery, woodland walks, rock formations and caves. It has many amenities, all within walking distance of the villa. They include lakeside bars and restaurants, a town square with an abundance of traditional shops, 2 supermarkets, cinema, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, bicycle hire,horse riding, archery, fishing, boating and golf nearby. Huelgoat is less than an hour from both the ferry port of Roscoff and Brest Airport, while the beautiful coast of Brittany is accessible within approximately 40 minutes. During the summer time there are plenty of festivals to celebrate - don't miss the 'pig roast and Breton dancing' that is held in the square each August. The fireworks over the lake are a spectacular scene, especially from the villa. May and September are also popular months for exploring this town and area - and the colours of the trees in the forest in Autumn are breathtaking.
Booking notes
Please confirm in the first instance verbally or by email, and send 25% deposit per week booked which should reach us within one week of your initial booking request. The balance, plus a bond of £150 is requires 8 weeks before you are due at Lake View Villas. The booking form and terms and conditions can be downloaded from our website on the availability page.
