Outside
Large grounds with plenty of open space containing football goals, archery, treehouse, swings and trampoline. There are also goats and fresh eggs to be collected from our chickens.
There is an above ground swimming pool measuring 9m x 4.5m with a depth of 1.25m. A wooden decked area around the pool is perfect for sun bathing and this adjoins the gravelled area at the rear of the gite. There is a wooden garden table and assorted plastic patio chairs and sun loungers. A barbecue is also included.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful coastline is 45 mins drive where you will find stunning sandy beaches and secluded rocky coves. The small port of Cancale is a favourite for sea food lovers with dozens of restaurants offering locally caught fish and shellfish.
Golf
Championship golf course at Chateau des Ormes is 20 mins away.
Travel
Dinard airport served by Ryanair is 45 mins away and offers car hire.
St Malo is the nearest ferry port (45 mins), followed by Caen (1 hour 45), Cherbourg (2.5 hours) and Calais/Boulogne 5 hours.
Distances
Small local supermarket is 5 mins away together with boulangerie, post office, bank, bars and restaurants.
The character town of Combourg is 10 mins away and has full range of shops, large supermarkets, restaurants and Chateau.
Further afield are the beautiful mediaeval towns of Fougeres (40 mins) and Dinan (30 mins).
Booking notes
To secure booking a 20% deposit is required with final balance due no later than 6 weeks prior to holiday.
A £100 security deposit is payable with this final balance. This will be returned to you after your holiday once the gite has been checked.
