This traditional small farm set amongst gently rolling countryside with lovely views is rural but not remote, 1 mile from the village of Monsireigne. This propery has been newly converted. There is a solar heated pool which complies with the latest French safety standards, a private sunbathing terrace with fenced garden, large courtyard and BBQs for the exclusive use of our guest. Each gite have English TV, DVD player, WIFI,fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities. The stairs have child proof gates, cot and highchair inclusive. The property is 50 minutes from the coast situated between Pouzauges and Chantonnay, 1 hour from La Rochelle and 20 minutes from the world famous Puy du Fou, the largest live show in Europe. The area boasts 400km of cycle ways (bicycles available), numerous rivers and fishing lakes, three top quality golf courses all within 1 hour, horse riding and an excellent range of restaurants within easy reach.

Each gite has stair gates for childrens safety, smoke alarms and wood burning stove for spring and autumn lets.

There is a solar heated pool, 10.5 x 5.5 metres with terracing, private garden, BBQs, all sunbeds and outdoor furniture for the exclusive use of our guests.
Coast/Beach
The gites are situated 50 minute driving from the uncrowded beaches of Western France.
Travel
There are two airports within an hours drive, La Rochelle and Nantes. We recommend a use of car. St Malo is 2hr 45 minutes, Caen and Roscoff approximately 4 hrs.

The nearest village is Monsireigne, 1 mile, Pouzauges is 10 miles, Chantonnay 15 miles.
Further details
We are 1 mile from the local shop, 10 miles from a supermarket, bank. There are many restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The area is rich in history. Places of interest include Science Museum, Puy du Fou, Futurescope, Marais Potevin (green venice). There are numerous Chateux in the area, many cycleways, fishing and a nightclub only 10 minutes drive. We are close to Lake Rochereau which boast a swimming beach, wind surfing and fishing.
