Observe the friendly bretons going about their business or glance across to the glorious fairytale chateau (open to public) whilst unwinding with a glass of wine! Park the car at the rear of the property and from then on, visit the many restaurants, bars, shops and weekly market by foot. Take a stroll or cycle ride along the canalside and stop for a picnic lunch or a spot of fishing. Hire a day boat or canoe. Photograph the wonderful medieval buildings in the town and enjoy the Breton fare on offer. In the evening, see the chateau gloriously lit against the summer night skies and enjoy the free weekly 'al fresco' music eves in July/August. Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday (high season), flexible at other times. Property should be vacated by 10am on departure day. Arrival time is anytime after 4pm. End of stay cleaning option -60 euros if you prefer not to do it yourself.

Morbihan coastline with its numerous beaches, fishing ports and 365 islands off the mainland is approx 45 mins driving distance. A beach area with large swimming lake and golf course is approx 20 mins drive. Indoor swimming pool 20 mins drive. Nantes/Brest Canal - on the doorstep!
Golf
Pretty 9 hole lakeside setting golf course with practice area and putting area just 15-20 mins from property. Hotel on site for those all important 'golfers lunches' or even an 'a la carte' dinner. Various other attractive 18 hole inland and coastal courses within 1 hrs drive.
Travel
Airports - Dinard, Rennes, Lorient and Nantes are the nearest airports (Max 2 hrs drive). Ferry Ports - St Malo is the nearest (Approx 1.5 hrs drive). Caen, Cherbourg & Roscoff within 4 hrs drive. Calais & Boulogne 6-7 hrs drive.
