The Spanish border is nearby.

Further details
The village of Laroque boasts a variety of nice bars and restaurants, all walking distance from the villa. Live music at the Cafe des Artistes in July and August, if you are after something a little special then Les Palmiers is worth a visit, although a little on the expensive side. There is also a very tasty Pizza takeaway service, several boulangeries, a small convenience store and fruit and vegetable store. A chemist and hairdressers are also available along with a doctors and dentist surgery. Taxi service and post ofiice too. There are several large supermarkets in the area all within 5-10 mins drive away.
