St Michel is conveniently located near the centre of the village and just 5 - 10 minutes walk from the ski lifts. Les Carroz is 45 minutes from Geneva via the A40 auto route. The hamlet has, and is investing heavily in facilities: new fast cable car system with lots of parking, giving easy access to the Grand Massive with 265km of superb skiing for novice and expert alike usually from December to May. During the summer there are plenty of activities from walking to riding, tennis, hot air ballooning and swimming a great place to relax away from the hurly-burly of life!

Notes on prices
Rates per apartment vary between €500 to €1,700 per apartment per week - depending upon the apartment chosen and the season.
Prices listed on our website (see below) in Euros (€) and are for each apartment per week. A deposit is required at time of confirmed booking and full payment must be received four weeks prior to arrival – sorry we do not have credit card payment facilities.

Changeover day
We may be flexible on this if it does not inconvenience other guests.

Ground floor: accommodates 4/8 people comfortably.
There are two large double bedrooms, one en-suite, plus additional good quality sofa beds and chairs if required.
Two additional shower rooms with basins and toilets.
There is plenty of storage room.
The well laid out kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and dryer. There are ample cooking pots and pans, toaster, coffee machine, food mixer together with crockery, glasses and cutlery – assuming you want to spend your time in the kitchen and not on the slopes!
The lounge has 2 sofa beds plus 2 chairs, log fireplace, TV and DVD player, lamps and rugs.

First Floor: accommodates up to 10 people.
There are two double bedrooms en-suite, one with balcony, a further bedroom with 2 sets of bunk-beds and a family bath / shower room with toilet.
There is ample storage throughout (wardrobes, chests of drawers and cupboards).
There is a large galley style kitchen fully equipped per the ground floor accommodation.
The lounge/dining room boasts a log fireplace, large pine dining table able to seat 12, 2 x comfortable sofa beds, TV, DVD player, lamps rugs and a great balcony giving views of the slopes above Les Carroz.

Second Floor: accommodates 4/6 people comfortably.
The bedroom has two single beds plus bunk beds with individual lights.
The shower / bathroom has basin and toilet and there is a separate toilet.
The large kitchen is equipped to the same high standard as the two other apartments.
In the lounge there is a comfortable sofa bed plus a chair bed if required, together with TV, DVD player, rugs, lamps etc.

 

Notes on accommodation
Pictures and plans for each secure apartment are shown on our website via link down below. The quality accommodation is tiled throughout with rugs. The property is centrally heated and double glazed throughout. The common entrance hall has ski racks and boot storage.

Accessibility
Access to the first and second floor apartments are via stairs only - for those with mobility problems the ground floor is preferable but not suitable for wheelchairs.

Outside
There is ample parking for 6 cars at the side and in front of St Michel

Skiing

Travel
There is a coach service from Geneva airport and a rail station in nearby Cluses connected to the French TGV system.

Distances
If driving: from Calais it’s all autoroute save the last 11km and takes about 8-9 hours with plenty of towns en-route for a good lunch!

A deposit is required at time of confirmed booking and full payment must be received 4 weeks prior to arrival. Sorry we do not have credit card payment facilities. Payment needs to be made by bank transfer only. A refundable deposit against breakages or damage and loss of keys is also required.

House swap
A week runs from 5pm on arrival Saturday till 12 noon on the following, departing Saturday.
