The cottage has a large living room with mezzanine bedroom above. There is a good sized well appointed kitchen and a large dining area with dining table to seat 8. Above the kitchen and dining room area are two further good sized bedrooms. Altogether there are 3 double beds, 4 single beds and a cot. There is also a highchair, baby buggy/pushchair, baby monitor, bottle sterilizer, baby bath and changing mat. In the basement there is a half sized snooker/ pool table and a dartboard. In the living room we have a selection of toys and also some children’s books and board games. We have a library of over 200 hardback and paperback books. There is also a Sky TV and DVD/VCR. The inventory includes a dishwasher and combined washing machine/ dryer. There is a large bathroom with bath, bidet, wash hand basin and separate shower cubicle. There are 2 separate toilets on different floors, the upstairs 1 with wash hand basin. Outside there is a large patio with BBQ. Large enogh for 2 families.

Reduced prices available for long weekends out of main season. 50% off second week cost for any 2 week booking July and August excepted. Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Saturday, arrival after 2pm and leave by 9am on day of departure. Mid week to mid week bookings available out of main season.

Notes on accommodation
We have set up our cottage to suit the needs of families with young children. In the garden there is a set of swings restricted to children 10 years of age and under. There are many toys, an elecronic keyboard, dolls house, children’s books and various board games. A babysitting service is available if required.

Accessibility
The property is an old stone built cottage on three separate levels. Sadly, it is not suitable for wheel chair access.
Outside
Large grassed area to rear of cottage, large patio area with BBQ, patio tables and chairs.
Coast/Beach
There is a selection of beaches about an hours drive from the cottage. Carnac beach is the nearest. It is a gently sloping fine sandy beach and is very popular in July and August. There are other more secluded beaches and some fine beaches further away on both sides of the Quiberon Peninsular. Lots to see and do.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses within easy reach. There is a brochure in the cottage listing the courses and giving access details.
Travel
Travelling by car - ferries from Portsmouth, Newhaven, Plymouth, Poole and Weymouth to Cherbourg, St Malo, Dieppe, Le Havre and Ouistreham/Caen. Travelling by air - Ryan air flight daily London Stansted to Dinard. Car hire available at Dinard.
Distances
Josselin, a beautiful small town with a fairytale style chateau overlooking the river is just 10km. In the village 3km, you will find bars, restaurants, boulangerie and a boucherie.
Further details
In Josselin you will find restaurants, supermarkets, branches of the leading French banks, and many small cafes and bars. There is a large market in the centre of the town on Saturday mornings. There is a further large market in Malestroit, 20km, on Thursday mornings. Visit the Resistance Museum just near to Malestroit. In Vannes, 25km, there is a fine indoor swimming pool with water slides and is very popular with our visitors with young children. The area is ideal for cycling. We provide bike hire at very reasonable rates.
Booking notes
After reserving dates with the owner, complete booking form and forward to the owner with cheque for the booking deposit amounting to 30% of total rental cost. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to commencement of holiday together with security deposit of £100. Security deposit to be paid 14 days after leaving less deduction for cost of any significant breakages. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the security deposit if further cleaning is required.
