Changeover day
Saturday changeover. Out of season we have some flexibility. Normally guests leave by 10 am and arrive after 4 or 5 pm so the apartment will be in perfect condition when you arrive.

Notes on accommodation
Penthouse with lift. Modern, fully air conditioned (each room controlled individually). Off street secure reserved parking. Easy train and bus access. Suitable for children. All bedrooms with built in shelving and hanging space. High Speed Broadband internet (12mbps) and wifi included for all visitors. Accessibility
The apartment is all on one level and there is a lift. Like all luxury apartments here you have double glass doors at the main entrance. You can drive up close to this entrance. No adaptions made in the apartment. Standard door widths.
Outside
Swimming Pool for residents only, in the grounds, with toilets and changing area. This never gets too crowded as most owners are permanent residents. It is fenced so that young children can't enter alone. Gardens and prairie area with small olive grove and Boules pitch for children to explore/play in and adults to enjoy garden and shade. The terrace balcony has access from the Kitchen and from the Living room and has large overhanging shady roof so that it does not get too hot. It has tables, chairs, sunbeds and outdoor lighting. You can see the see the mountains (often with snow) from one side and look out towards the sea from the Terrace.
Coast/Beach
Lovely harbour side walks and restaurants, ice-creams and bars to enjoy. 500m walk to Sandy Beaches (3km in length). Beaches are mainly free and are cleaned daily and have public showers, shallow, sandy and safe for young children. Yachting marina with numerous waterside cafes and restaurants close by making ideal evening strolls and dinners. Several courses in hills at Mougins 4 km away. There are other courses in the region.
Skiing
Sking is possible at Gréolières-les-neiges. This is accesable by road from the coastal area. Skiing is at 1400 to 1800m. The skiing area covers over 1000 hectares, and has a unique 360 degree panorama over the Cote'dAzur, Italy, Corsica in fine weather and the Alps. There are 10 lifts , 1 cable car. There are 4 Green, 3 Blue, 13 Red and two Black Pistes totalling 30 kms of runs.
76 Snow Cannons to guarantee good snow. There is a good ski school and parking for 2,800 cars.
Special interest holidays
Super central spot for touring with Monaco and Italy in easy range. Good Train and bus access so you do not have to use a car.
Travel
Nice airport about 20-30 mins. Car Hire available at airport or in Golfe-Juan. A car is recommended if you wish to tour - but good bus Services and Train services from Golfe-Juan station (1Km) mean you can go all along the coast easily without a car, even visiting Italy and Monte-Carlo. In summer there is a free ‘hail and ride’ bus in Golfe-Juan which will take ou all round the town. It passes la Desirade.
Distances
Golfe-Juan centre 1km, Cannes 2km, Antibes 2km. Easy drive to Grasse (perfumes), Nice, 45 mins to Italy to explore. Golfe-Juan is in the Centre of the Coastal region and has many places nearby to see. Children may enjoy Marineland 5km away. Many nearby Art Museums. Good train and bus access for non-car users.
Further details
Golfe-Juan is an unspoilt typical small French sea-side town. There are banks, post-office etc. If you don't want to cook there are vendors of roast chickens, fresh pizzas and traiteurs selling ready meals for you to finish at home. There are Many restaurants catering for all price ranges with fish and sea food a local speciality. Street markets at night three times a week nearby and lovely harbour and promenade.
Tetou and Nounou are well known restaurants in Golfe-Juan where all the stars come to eat. You are can hire a boat to go fishing, vist the Isles de Lerisn (Man in the Iron Mask). There are loads of museums and hill towns and excursions as well as Marineland nearby.

Contact us and we will send a confirming letter. If you are happy you pay a deposit by Cheque/Bank transfer in Sterling or Euro. The final balance payment made 8 wks before visit. Deposit €250 payable in Euro locally for breakage. The prices are inclusive of sheets, pillows, towels, water etc. Not included are beach towels.

About the owner
We are a married couple with three children (teens and early twenties) living in London. I have worked for trade Associations and International Chamber of Commerce. Our interests include Art and Museum visiting, Cycling. I collect and restore old clocks (none in the apartment!)

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted a second home which was warm throughout the year. Other features we looked for were easy access by air and by train. We liked Golfe-Juan because it is a small typical French town and not very tourist filled. It is easy to get around without a car as the buses and train offer an excellent local service. Even in Winter the weather is mild and you can walk around with a light jacket. There is so much to do in the area we still haven't explored it all.
Unique benefits of the property
We chose this apartment as we wanted a modern apartment with plenty of space. We have a swimming pool and a large garden area with boules and a little olive grove. As the block is mainly residential the pool does not get crowded during the day.
We love to sit on the balcony in the evening and enjoy the warm air with a cold drink. If we want to go to the harbour it is only a short walk away and we then walk up and down looking at the boats. Sometimes we go into Juan-les-Pins in the evening which is very busy and crowded - it is only 1.5 kms away so we can walk or take a bus/use our car.
