This 100 year old house is set within the heart of a traditional provencal village whose main occupation is wine. With the hills of the Dentelles as a stunning backdrop. The house was restored to a high standard in 2006 and offers every comfort. Including air conditioning and garaging for one car. The village offers all amenities for every day life including three restaurants, and an abundance of wine caves happy to receive visitors for tasteings. The famous mount Ventoux is a short distance away a must for tour du France lovers. The cultural towns of Avignon, Aix, Nimes and Arles are all within a short distance and the Local town of Vaison La Romaine boasts one of the best weekly markets of the region.

Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen is on the middle floor separate to the sitting room. It has a full sized oven and hob, large fridge freeze and dishwasher. Leading from the kitchen is a large terrace for dining.
Utility Room: The utility room is situated on the ground floor and is equipped with a washing machine and sink and ironing facilities.
Living Rooms: The large sitting room is situated on the middle floor. There is a large dining table for six, comfy seating and television. The sitting room opens out onto the dining terrace and its large windows offer views over the village.

Les Platanes is a light sunny house with large rooms.
The accommodation is over three floors, with full air conditioning.
The house was fully renovated in 2006 with many traditional provencal features and decor.

The main terrace is off the kitchen and sitting room and is equipped with a dining table for six, parasol, bbq and sun loungers. It is private and offers views over the village.
The second terrace is off the main bedroom and has sun loungers, with views over the village.

Further details
Sablet is in the heart of Cote du Rhone, ideal for wine lovers.
Many caves offer wine tasteings and Domaine Piaugier hold weekly picnics and wine tastings in their vinyards.
The village has all the shops you need for day to day living including a bank and all are only a few minutes walk from the house. The restaurants offer tradtional provencal menues and can cater for simple suppers to a special occasion meals. There is a tradional cafe with terrace overlooking the village square ideal for coffe in the mornings. There are marked walks and cycling tracks to follow in the surrounding hills and Tennis courts in the village. The villages and Seguet and Gigondas are within walking distance. The local town of Vaison is a ten minute drive where there are supermarkets and a swimming pool. There are roman ruins and an amphi theatre which hosts summer concerts. The weekly market on Tuesdays in one of the best in the region.
Avignon with its "Palais de Pape" is a wealth of cultral heritage and its yearly festival of theatre a grat experiance.
The Gorges of the Ardeche are a short dive away and are ideal for canoeing. The Camargue is an hours drive and a must for nature lovers.
