Brand new detached, purpose built single bedroom gîte. Le Petit Chêne is set in 1.25 acres, in the hamlet of Puy Gombert. With it's splendid views and exclusive use of plunge pool, it is the perfect place to rent for your holiday giving you peace and tranquillity, yet within walking distance of the lovely old town of Brantome. Canoeing, horse riding, rock climbing and tennis available nearby as well as excellent swimming pools. Excellent Karting track 30 minutes drive away. 2 x 18 gear mountain bikes available for free use by guests to explore quiet lanes and nearby pretty villages. Changeover day
Prefered changeover day Saturday. Arrival after 4 pm and departure before 10am.

| Bedrooms: | The comfortable double bed easily converts to a large settee. There is an overhead 3 speed fan for use in the warm summer months. |
| Bathrooms: | Toilet/shower room plus hand basin. Large shower fitted with glass door. Point for hairdryer and shaver with mirror. |
| Kitchen: | Well equipped kitchen including gas oven, microwave and fridge. Use of washing machine in garage. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has a settee which easily converts to the comfortable double bed. Double sliding doors give access to the patio and the large garden. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen can be supplied at the cost of 10 euros per week. |

Accessibility
The gîte is all on ground floor level and although not large enough for wheelchairs it is suitable for guests who have minor mobility problems.

Loungers and barbecue supplied. Exclusive use of circular plunge pool (10½ft x 2½ approx) to keep you cool in the hot summer months.
Golf
Nearest golf course is Perigueux, approximately 30 minutes drive away.
Special interest holidays
Sky Watching at Night: There is no light interference and is the perfect spot for amateur sky watching. Relax in the peace and quiet of the garden and with binoculars or a telecope borrowed from the owners, watch the night sky.
Travel
Angoulême, Limoges, Bergerac and Bordeaux are the nearest airports, all approximately 1½ hours drive away. Use of car essential.
Distances
Brantôme is our nearest town. Approximately 4 minutes drive away. The lovely city of Perigueux complete with its medieval quarter is 30 minutes drive away.
Further details
Brantôme is a lovely old town completely surrounded by the river Dronne. The old abbey makes a perfect background both for the town and for the weekly, colourful market. Set in front of the abbey it winds over the bridge and along the banks of the Dronne. There are several excellent restaurants in the town as well as a wide variety of shops. Canoeing, horse riding and tennis available nearby as well as excellent swimming pools.
