La Vallee Verte as the name suggests is in a beautiful picturesque setting with stunning views over the valley. Whether you go to ski, snowboard, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, or for mountain biking (VTT) and summer activities, of which there are numerous, you will enjoy your stay and want to come back to Morzine again and again. Morzine has excellent facilities and can cater from non-skiers during the winter season. Summer season has too many attractions to list both in the immediate area lakes and activitie, and further a field including Mer de Glace, Geneva and Lake Leman and the idyllic medieval town of Yvoire to name just a few.

Accessibility
The apartment is entranced though the front door with 4 steps, otherwise the whole accommodation is on the same level. You can park directly outside the front door.

Skiing
Walking distance from Morzine lifts and slopes and or on bus route to other skiiable areas (Ardent/Avoriaz) within the domain. Portes du Soleil is world class skiing ideally suited to families and all levels of ability. Truly the world's best and largest ski area!
Travel
Within an hour from Geneva airport served by Easyjet and BA etc and lots of transfers to Morzine are available. Morzine is 550 miles from Calais and can be completed comfortably in 8 hours. Motorway tolls apply in France. Rates start from £70 for a car with 5 persons to cross the channel.

10 minutes walk to town centre, shops, bars, restaurants swimming pool, and ice hockey etc.

Excellent selection of shops restaurants and supermarkets with some. Champion selling limited range of UK brand labels, baked beans, Marmite etc! Excellent sports and leisure facilities including skiing, mountain biking, paragliding / parapente, hiking, climbing, horse riding, tennis, swimming, etc. 1 hour from Geneva (Lac Leman) and world class shopping, Yvoire and Evian close by.
Booking notes
Bookings will only be confirmed with cleared receipt of the minimum deposit of 25% or 100% of the total cost if booked within 6 weeks of departure and by signing and returning 'Booking Conditions'. A key deposit will be required prior to release of keys of £300. This will be fully refundable / returnable upon return of the keys assuming the property is left clean and tidy and without any loss or damage.

About the owner
Roy & Sheila live in a small village near Guildford Surrey with our 3 children and 2 Gordon Setters, Leo and Alfie. Leo travels with us to Morzine and has for the last 10 years or so Alfie will this summer following all his jabs. The children look forward to every visit to the region summer or winter and are making friends and improving their French each trip. The air is great the food is great the views are great and don't get me started on the skiing unless you have a long time!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We all love Morzine and feel privileged to be a small part of this wonderful area. After visiting the town for years we bought here in 1999. We have grown to think of Morzine as "home from home" and everyone is always so friendly. You can never run out of things to see and do and the mountains never cease to impress and inspire.
Unique benefits of the property
Ideally situated a few minutes from the town centre and 5 minutes drive from the lake. Over the last 10 years we have improved the accommodation and have added everything needed for a great stay. We still have lots of exciting plans and want to continue to sympathetically enhance the property with out own ideas.
