Bagnols en Foret, is a small hillside village of Roman foundation nestling in the woods and has all the charm of Provence with fountain, bars, and beautiful views across the valleys towards Frejus and the Mediterranean, 20 minutes drive away. You can enjoy the Mediterranean climate by day and the cool quiet of this 300 meters high village at night.

The villa is light and airy and perfect for summer living, but is equally cosy in the winter with wood burning fire and electric central heating radiators. Use of central heating is charged extra during winter lets. Please Note - No Children under 10 years of age.

Further a field. By car - St Maxime / Frejus and the sea and beaches, 20 minutes. Easy motorway drive to Cannes - 40 minutes, and Nice an hour. Grasse and Draguignan, 40 minutes. Within easy drive of Italy, St Tropez and The Gorges du Verdon. Ferries to Cannes, Toulon and Marseille to pretty islands of Porquerolles, Corsica and other Mediterranean destinations.

Bagnols-en-Foret village amenities: Usual village shops include 2 general stores, butcher, 2 bakers, bars, 5 restaurants, general market twice a week. Local wines to be tasted and purchased at the nearby Cave Viticole.

Close to home: Restaurants - the villages of Fayance, Callian,and Monteroux are 20/30 minutes drive to the north and have excellent and inexpensive restaurants and bars with beautiful views to the south. Just the place to chill out and absorb the atmosphere. An antique and brick-a-brack centre on the road to Grasse. The Sunday flower, fruit and vegetable market at Le Muy.
