The apartment is newly refurbished to a very high specification, located in a beautiful character alpine resort. Mountain views, easy access to slopes. Ski hire, ski pass booth, and boulangerie are only a few hundred yards from appartment. Situated on the famous Tour de France climb of the Col du Galibier, a full programme of winter and summer activities are available: open air swimming pool in Summer, fitness centre, bowling, ice rink, tennis courts, golf driving range, mountain biking, ski school. Village houses numerous artisan shops, restaurants and nightclubs.

Bed linen and towels are available for hire at 42 Euros for one week. Compulsory cleaning is 65 Euros at the end of your stay.

Travel
By Plane - The nearest airports are Chambery (50 mins), Geneva, Grenoble, Turin or Lyon (approx 1.5 hrs), from which hire cars are available. By Train - The nearest station is St Michel de Maurienne which connects with the fast TVR/Eurostar service at Chambery, is approx 25 mins – taxis and buses from here to Valloire are usually available. By Car -
From Calais follow Reims, Dijon, Dole, Chambery, pick up signs for Turin, turn off at St Michel de Maurienne and follow signs to Valloire.

Further details
Valloire is a character mountain village. A weekly market on Fridays. Ski schools, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops, cinema, library, medical centre, swimming pool (Summer only), bowling and games hall, fitness center, night clubs, snow sculptures in the main street during Jan / Feb. Montain bike trails, paragliding.
