This former winemaker’s house, of the local Domaine Georges Guérin, was built at the end of the 19th Century. It retains several ‘Art Nouveau’ elements and having been recently and lovingly renovated with much style and taste, it is now a fully equipped 2 bedroom holiday home. With many of the original features, charm, character and furniture you will find a large open plan main room, with stylish kitchen where you can prepare your traditional gourmet dinners using local produce found at the markets in the region.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week. Fully inclusive prices including TV, WIFI internet access, linen and towels (extra towels for sauna), barbecue, generous welcome pack, full range of consumables, end of stay cleaning, utility costs (elctricity incl. sauna, wood, charcoal). Long stay discounts. Available principally in low and high season as indicated above. Outside season (e.g. Christmas / New Year) renting possible after consulting owner. We need time for maintenance.

| Living Rooms: | There is an original open fireplace with a black marble surround and comfortable chairs to while away lazy mornings or evenings. A dining area with table, 6 chairs and a little balcony where you can sit and enjoy your café and croissants in the morning. |

Outside
You arrive at the walled courtyard and double gates. There is ample parking for 2 cars here in the courtyard. An original well has been turned into a pretty fountain feature.
Wide steps lead to the upper garden and outdoor dining area. A wooden table and 6 chairs under metal framed gazebo with BBQ provide the perfect ambiance for al-fresco dining. A wood store can be found by the back door – wood supplied for those cooler summer evenings
The garden is fully enclosed and has many flower and shrub borders. At the rear of the property you will see the recently nicely restored Pigeonnier. Next to it there will be by the end of february 2008 a sun terrace with pool, a sauna with shower and a little gym with a fitness bike.
Travel
The A6 autoroute linking Paris to Lyon can be accessed at Beaune or Chalon. The A6 joins other autoroutes north to Paris and Calais, south to Lyon and the Mediterranean coast and easy access east to Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
The TGV station at Le Creusot has frequent trains to Paris Gare de Lyon or Charles de Gaulle Airport, to Lyon and also to Lille twice a day for connecting trains to London via Eurostar. There’s TGV station at Beaune too. There are also train connections from Beaune.

Further details
Just 2km from Nolay in the Valley de la Cozanne, and situated on the Route des Vignobles de Beaune à Cluny, Change is a charming little village, home to 8 winemakers!
In the heart of Hautes Côtes de Beaune, 20km south west of Beaune (Wine capital of Burgundy), 28km North west of Chalon (large town on the River Saone) and 25 km east of Autun (roman town and gateway to the Morvan Natural parc), Change is is perfectly situated for exploring the best that Burgundy has to offer.
The Canal du Centre is just a few minutes away, where you can walk, cycle and horse ride along the bridle paths.
Hikers can start in Change, either from the ‘Circuit de Trois Monts’ or the famous GR7. From the top of Mont des Trois Croix you will find a fantastic panoramic view. The 4(!) mountain bikes at the house will help you to experience the surrounding natural beauty that Change has to offer.
For those who like a little bit of ‘Las Vegas’, no problem. Santenay with its castles and famous casino is just 5 km away.
Last but not least Change has a little Bistro where you can find local food and try to understand the Burgundy dialect.
Nolay has all the necessary facilities for your stay: several nice restaurants; supermarkets; butchers; bakeries; banks; medical services; tennis courts and a natural swimming lake.
