This charming provençal house, a fully refurbished watermill, was built shortly before the French Revolution; it has no directly visible neighbours. The river Sasse runs in the back of the garden. Its large terrace is located under a huge sycamore tree providing shade in the hot summer days. The house has been renovated and provides all modern comfort. A separate stone building, the "cabanon", provides a bedroom with 7 beds, ideal for kids or teenagers.

Notes on accommodation
The house has one telephone line, also connected to a fax machine as well as an ADSL Wi-Fi Internet connection. Calls to France and Europe (regular landlines only) and to the USA and Canada (landlines and mobiles) are free of charge. All other calls will be charged.
Accessibility
Direct access to the garden from the lower floor (kitchen, dining room and living room) and from the upper floor (master bedroom, hall and garage).
Outside
The garden is 1.6 hectares large and is located alongside the Sasse river. It is very secluded but easily accessible from the road. There is a large table, sitting up to 16 guests, on the terrace and the private pool area has furniture on its own large sun-bathing terrace. The pool is 10 by 5 meters and is heated (springtime and late summer).
Golf
There are golf courses in Digne-les-Bains (18 holes, par 72), distance 40 km, in Gap-Bayard (18 holes, par 72), distance 60 km and in Pierrevert (Golf du Lubéron, 18 holes, par 72) distance 70 km. Possibilities of practice in the garden.
Travel
One hour driving from Marseille Airport and from Aix-en-Provence TGV train station.
Distances
3 km for charming old village of Valernes and 10 km from Sisteron, where you will find all amenities: supermarkets, shops, banks, a cinema, a hospital and doctors.
