Kitchen: Kitchenette with electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave / grill / oven.
Utility Room: Washing machine.
Living Rooms: Main living area has kitchenette, extending table with seating 8 plus, large sofa bed, armchair etc. TV (French channels only) and DVD, CD player, radio and cassette. Plenty of cupboard space. Balcony.
Other: The apartment is on the first floor. There are stairs and a lift. On ground floor there is a lockable private ski locker and also a lockable communal mountain bike store.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Cleaning is included although we expect the apartment to be left in a very clean state with refuse removed on departure. Linen is not included but can be rented at a very reasonable rate if desired. Also cot, cot linen and high chair.

Skiing
Valloire is a mountain village with excellent facilities. Two cable cars minutes from the apartment whisk you up to the vast ski areas above which also connect to the ski areas of Valmienier 1450 and 1800. A day reduction for skiing the Trois Vallee ski area - accessed via cable car from the Maurienne valley below - to the top of Valthorens, is included in the weekly ski pass.

Travel
Chambery is the nearest airport - approx. 50 mins. Geneva, Lyon and Turin are all equi-distant (approx. 1.5 hrs). The train station of St Michel de Maurienne which connects with the fast TVR/Eurostar service at Chambery is approx. 25 mins.

Further details
Valloire is an old, typical mountain village with lots of character and life still with a working farming community and even a magnificent baroque church. A weekly market on Fridays. Ski schools, creche, banking, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, clinic, shops, cinema, library, media/internet center, ice rink, swimming pool with water slides (summer only) fitness center, bowling and games hall, night clubs and snow sculptures in the main street during January/Feb. Mountain bike trails, paragliding, huskey rides and snow shoeing are just some of the activities on offer locally.
