Changeover day
Changeover day during the summer season is Saturday. Out of season, flexible. Arrival after 4pm departure before 10am.

| Kitchen: | There is a small kitchen in the living room but it has everything you will need for your self catering break. Table will seat six but the terrace is where you will want to be eating. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room has an Ikea sofa bed in it, comfortable seating for all. The house has Sky TV, radio. |

Outside
There is an amazing terrace on the roof of this house ideal for eating and sunbathing, the terrace gets the sun all day and is perfect for the sun worshiper.
The terrace is very private and has cooking and eating facilities on it with a table everyone can comfortably sit around.
During the summer nights you can eat on the terrace and enjoy the views. The fantastic weekly firerworks can be seen just behind the cathedral from the terrace making for a very romantic evening, or a fun n ight for the children
Coast/Beach
There are beautiful golden sandy beaches at Grau d'Agde, Rochelongue, Richelieu, Marseillan and La Tamarissiére all a 5 minute drive from Agde.

Travel
Ryanair fly into Montpellier (the nearest airport), Nimes, Carcassonne and Perpignan from London Stansted. Car hire is available from all these airports. There is also a Eurostar link from London Waterloo to Lille/Paris and tgv to Montpellier/Agde/Beziers. Agde station is in the centre of the town. During the season the town provides a regular daily bus service to the beaches therefore a car is not essential as shops, restaurants buses and trains are all within walking distance.
Distances
This house is in the historic centre ville a few steps from the market, shops, restaurants, canal cruises and fishing trips. A full day would be required to visit the medieval city of Carcassonne. Lakes, mountains, vinyards - this is the larget wine growing area in France - are all within an easy drive of Agde.
Further details
There is a Spar supermarket just off the Mews and a larger MarcheU supermarket in the centre of the town. There are over 30 restaurants in the town and a very good quality 3 course menu will cost around 16 euros. A plat du jour would cost from 7 euros. Details of our favourite restaurants are in the information pack in the house. Family activities during the season include horseriding, sailing and wind surfing, tennis, paragliding, naturist beaches, canoeing and boat hire and cruises on the canal du midi which is a short walk away. During the evening in the season the town of Agde provides open air concerts, strolling jazz bands, art exhibitions 'sous les arbes', traditional French markets and the most amazing firework displays. There is truly something for all ages and tastes.
