A spacious (220 sq.m) traditional villa which is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It is situated in its own enclosed garden at the end of a no-through road. The location is on the slopes leading up to the village of Callian and offers beautiful views of the village and the valley below. Outside, the garden is a very attractive feature with a swimming pool, lawned areas, a lily pond, trees and terraces. The various terraces give you the choice of sun or shade throughout the day. There is wireless broadband internet access, telephone, large flat screen HDTV with UK HDTV and French TV, DVD player and table tennis table.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation has air conditioning throughout. It is not suitable for children under 5 years because of an open staircase and unprotected lily pond.
Outside
The property is fully enclosed and accessed through remote controlled gates. The large garden is an attractive feature with specimen trees, lawns, terraces, a lily pond (with goldfish) and a large parking area. The swimming pool is 4m x 9m and has a pagoda on the terrace for shade. There is an open 2 car garage - essential for keeping your car cool. A table tennis table is available for use in the garage or outside. There is an abundance of outdoor and poolside furniture.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at La Napoule about 14 miles away but all forms of water sports can be found on the attractive Lac de St Cassien about 2 miles away. The extensive sandy beaches at Frejus are about 20 miles distance.
Golf
The Four Seasons Terre Blanche Resort (www.terre-blanche.com) with its two 18 hole courses is within 2km. There are many other courses within easy reach.
Travel
Nearest international airport is Nice at about 30 miles. Nearest railway station is La Napoule at 14 miles. Nearest motorway is junction 39 on the A8 at about 7 miles. A car is essential for seeing the local area.
Distances
The popular resorts of Cannes, Antibes, St Raphael, Frejus and St Topez among many others are within easy reach by car. The nearest village of Callian is about half a mile albeit uphill along a quiet country road. Montauroux is a little further (and higher). There are many other historical villages close by thay are well worth exploring. The spectacular Gorges Du Verdon is well worth visiting as are a number of local gorges.
Further details
All the local villages have markets (on different days!) and the local farmers market (where the local farmers bring their produce) is within a mile of the villa. There are also a number of convenient supermarkets in the area. There is a large choice of restaurants in the vicinity ranging from the village bistro to the Michelin starred establishments.
