The chateau is surrounded by one of the most spectacular parks in all of France, with tennis courts and a heated seimming pool at you dispposal. Only 45 mins. by train and 30 min. by car from Paris, also easy access to EuroDisney (20 min. drive) and Chateau Vaux le Vicomte (40 min drive). The Champagne wine region, the Palace of Fontainebleau and Charles de Gaulle airport. Also it is only 3 hour drive from Calais. there is motor way A4 just near the chateau that will leads you 15 min. to eurodisney, 35 min. paris and 30 min. to CDC airport.

A deposit of £100 will hold your reservation. Full payment is due before arrival.
Bank transfers, credit cards and Paypal payments are accepted but we prefer bank transfers and credit cards. Arrival/departure dates and stay durations are not fixed. We ask 3rd & 4th guests for £49/week or £7/day more apiece. The key and damages deposit is £100.
The one-time cleaning fee is 45 euros (about £30, but we ask for it in euros so the caretaker can use it)

The Château de La Trousse is located in the Seine-et-Marne departément of the Ile de France, Paris metropolitan region. The area is home to some of the most famous tourist attractions in France, including Euro Disney, the champagne wine region the Fontainebleau palace and many others, and we are 30 minutes drive from Paris.
Travel
Charles de Gaulle Airport is about a half hour away by car and also can be reached by train. The Lizy-sur-Ourcq train station is 3 km away while the major station at Meaux is about 10 km away. Cars may be hired nearby or in Paris, at about 189 euros/week. The caretaker provides delivery and taxi services on request, and there is a local taxi as well.

The village of Lizy-sur-Ourcq, with a train station and excellent restaurants and services at rates below those in Paris, is 3 km away. Meaux is 10 km away. Paris is 1/2 hour away.

Booking notes
A deposit of half a week's rent will hold your reservation, and payment should be made in full before arrival. A key and property deposit of £100 in cash is required upon arrival and will be refunded with surrender of the keys and certification that the property is in good order upon departure. There is a cleaning fee of £20 at the end of your stay. Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, Mastercard, or VISA, but we would rather have bank transfers or credit card payments.
Guest comments
Guests who were planning two weeks at la Trousse and two weeks in Paris asked to spend all four weeks at la Trousse instead--quite a compliment to prefer us to Paris! Another guest so enjoyed her outings with other la Trousse visitors and residents that she has become a regular return visitor.
