Recently converted stables set in delightful countryside near the medieval town of Bricquebec. Called ‘Le Pommier’ this delightful cottage is set in a secluded courtyard opposite the owner's residence. It is just 3 km from the charming town of Bricquebec with its impressive castle and bustling weekly market, this central location provides easy access to the coast and most places of interest, it is ideal for a peaceful and interesting break in rural Normandy.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Short breaks during the low and mid. season are available on a per night rate: Low season £30 per night Mid. £40 per night.
Minimum stay 3 nights.
Changeover day
Saturday is our preferred day for changeovers, but we can be flexible, particularly out of high season.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Two bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with twin beds. A cot is available on request. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath, wash basin and separate shower. Separate toilet with wash basin. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped with gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. |
| Living Rooms: | Bright and airy lounge/diner with some nice character features. 3 piece suite, English TV (free-to-air channels) dining table and chairs. Wood burning stove. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Pillows and duvets are provided but bed linen and towels are not. They can be supplied if required at a cost of £10/15 euros per person. Beach towels are not supplied |
Notes on accommodation
In addition to the wood burner, all rooms have electric convector heaters. Electricity is metered but rental includes 100 units per week, which to date has been more than enough for average use. Units above 100 will charged at cost, currently 0,13 centimes per unit. This will probably only concern lettings outside of the summer.
There is also a small charge for logs, price will vary depending on supply, but we provide them at cost.
Bottle gas for cooking is inclusive.

There is a garden area with barbecue and garden furniture, and the courtyard provides secure parking.
Coast/Beach
There is a choice of superb quiet secluded beaches all within a 15 mins drive.
On the doorstep there are quiet country lanes and designated routes that are perfect for cycling or walking.
Golf
You have a 9 hole links course just 15 mins drive away.
Travel
Cherbourg is the nearest port only a 30 mins drive. At present it is only served by Brittany Ferries. An alternative is the Portsmouth to Le Havre crossing operated by LD Lines. Other companies offer crossings on the central and eastern routes and of course there is the Channel Tunnel.
Distances
Bricquebec is a distance of 3km and offers the nearest choice of shops and restaurants.
Further details
Many other towns and places of interest are all within easy reach. Activities include horse riding, sand yachting or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity the area offers.
