Kermeury is situated in an area of natural outstanding beauty, just half an hour from the beautiful pink granite coast with its fantastic beaches quiet and peaceful or busier... take your pick! It is an area of many different things on offer so it caters for everyone old and young alike. There are parks and activities for children and many wonderful towns steeped in history with not to mention the street cafes and restaurants where you can just sit, relax and watch the world go by, while you experience the second to non wine and French cuisine! The whole area is surrounded by lakes with their beaches, rivers and canals and the almost traffic free lanes to cycle along.The forest of Beffou is close by with many tracks to follow through the heart of the forest, and we even have the bikes for you! The market town, Callac is about 15 minutes away and here you can find supermarkets, bars and wonderful restaurants. Conveniently situated for the ports of St Malo and Roscoff.

Long term winter lets available at greatly reduced prices in both the farmhouse and the longere. £110 + elec bills for farmhouse. £80 for longere + elec bills per week. Minimum stay 4 weeks. Short term lets minimum stay 4 weeks £110 / £80. Discount available for two week stay and two person occupancy

Changeover day
Holidays start on Saturdays and time of arrival is 4.30 onwards and we ask you to vacate the property by 10.30.

Notes on accommodation
Kermeury is an old Breton farming hamlet once occupied by various farming families. The farmhouse is a spacious detached building built in 1863. It has been lovingly restored and retains many of the original features. There are beautiful original Breton fireplaces with log burners, exposed stone walls in most of the rooms, along with the original old beams. It provides comfortable and cosy accommodation all year through, fully modernised for maximum comfort and yet still retaining the old world charm of its time.

Accessibility
Suitable for people with moderate mobility problems as there is a bathroom, large bedroom, kitchen/diner and television all on the ground floor.

Outside
The large secluded gardens are set in the heart of the Breton countryside. The hamlet is found at the end of a lane away from main roads and situated in complete seclusion. The large secluded gardens are surrounded by woodlands and fields and a stream borders the field infront of the house. There are two pools for your enjoyment, one 4.6 x 0.9m is wonderful to splash around and cool off in and is a real hit with the children who can enjoy playing and running around in it. The other pool for the more energetic is 10 x 5.5m and is situated in the field just in front of the house, wonderful for the swimmers. Garden furniture is dotted around the many different areas of garden and charcoal barbecues are provided. Bicycles are available and this is a wonderful way of exploring the Breton countryside on the almost traffic free lanes.

Travel
We are near the ferry ports of Roscoff and St. Malo. Roscoff is about 1 hour away and St. Malo about 2 hours.
The nearest airports are Brest about 1 1/2 hours away and Dinan about 2 hours away.
However if you care to get in touch with us we can advise on the cheapest crossings to suit your needs.

Booking notes
We can send you details and booking form through the post or via email. We ask for a deposit of £100 per week booked, the final balance being payable six weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We also ask for a security deposit held against damages which will be refunded after checking the property.
