The studio (24 sq.m.) is on the second floor of the Le Club apartment block with a lift. The studio has a south facing balcony with views of the ski slope and the Point d'Areu. Les Carroz is situated in the extensive Grand Massif ski area which includes Flaine. The apartment block is in the village centre. Next door to it is the skating rink and a small supermerket. There is a bus from the village centre to the cable car which takes about 5 minutes. In Summer there is a large swimming pool in the village plus a wide range of walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits. The village has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Les Carroz is very accessible from Britain being one of the closest resort either by motorway or from Geneva. In the vicinty is Annecy and Chamonix.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds (i.e. not per person) and include all utilities. There is a reduction of £50 for a 2 week booking.
Changeover day
Changeover day is generally Saturday (10am depart / 4pm arrive) but we are flexible.

Golf
The highest golf course in Europe is near Flaine (15 minutes drive), Les Gets (35 minutes drive), Chamonix (45 minutes drive).
Skiing
Les Carroz is in the Grand Massif ski area and consists of 265km of pistes. The resort is linked to Flaine, Samoens, Morillon. Les Carroz is 1140m and the top of Flaine 2500m. There is an 8 person cablecar from Les Carroz to 1800m. There is a free ski bus which stops 2 minutes from the studio to the cable car. The pistes offer a good selection of black, red, blue and green runs. The village has 2 ski schools plus nursery slopes. Other ski areas in the locallity are Megeve, Chamonix, St Gervais, Les Contamines and Morzine plus you can go through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Courmayeur in Italy.
Travel
Les Carroz is 1 hour from Geneva Airport. From Calais the driving time is about 9 hours (all motorway apart from the last 10km. There is a train from Paris to Cluses 10km.
Distances
Nearest places of interest by car are Mont Blanc and the Montenvers railway in Chamonix (45 minutes), Geveva (1 hour) and Annecy (50 minutes) Samoens and Sixt (20 minutes).
Further details
There is a market in Les Carroz on Tuesdays.
The village has a range of resturants, shops and banks.
There are larger supermarkets in Cluses (10 minutes).
