Maswari is set on the midst of a hillside surrounded by fields on a quiet country road a short distance from the quaint & historical village of Lusignac. The house itself is comfortable and spacious & gives onto an ample sized garden with heated pool. The views of rolling Dordogne countryside are spectacular and can be enjoyed from one of the two terraces or from underneath the huge canapy of our beautiful lime tree. The house has the added benefit of underfloor heating and an open fireplace for cosy winter visits. The location of Maswari is only a short driving distance away from Riberac, a lively town with a bustling, colourful market. Closer still is Verteillac (6km) a small village which boasts all desired amenities a grocers, bakers, bank, doctors and some great restaurants! This is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne or to sit back, relax and take a breather.

Prices are for the property per week in euros.
Deposits per week €100. Payment of 10% of the total amount plus deposit(s) to be received within 8 days of reservation. The remaining amount must be paid 4 weeks before the beginning date of the house rental. Deposits will be returned 14 days after leaving the house, deductions will be made for damage, misuse or missing property.
Changeover day
Change over day is usually on Saturday between 15.00 and 16.00 unless organised otherwise with the house owner.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 split level room with double bed, and two single beds. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4 (Loft conversion (with low ceiling) ideally suited for children, has TV/video) sleeps 3 on camp beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Ground floor bathroom has large walk in shower, double sink and toilet. 1st floor bathroom has a bath with shower, sink and toilet. An additional shower room/WC is situated next to the poolhouse in the garden. |
| Kitchen: | This Modern Kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and electrical equipment, hob, cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, juicer. (Washing machine situated in the utility room). |
| Utility Room: | Includes additional fridge and freezer, a washing machine, iron and ironing board. |
| Living Rooms: | The Living room has a TV, Video and DVD player, an open fireplace, and a large sofa with two french doors that lead onto the sun terrace. |
| Other: | The dining room has french doors leading onto the garden, a grand dining table that seats 10, all you need now is to select your favourite CD (player provided) to set the ambience for a relaxing family evening meal or party whichever takes your fancy! |

Duvets and pillows are provided however towels and bedlinen are not. The property is cleaned prior to your arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
The house has central heating (underfloor heating/radiators) and an open wood fire. A selection of board games are provided also. Upstairs does have some low beams, some ducking may be required! Pets are welcome but are asked to remain downstairs.

Outside
The garden is totally private, it has an ample sized lawn with two terraces (one undercover, one sunspot). All the garden paraphenalia you might require is available including garden furniture, loungers and parasoles, a built in BBQ, table tennis, a giant chess/chequers board and heated swimming pool(36x16.5ft) with water slide to provide hours of entertainment for the kids. Plus an electrical pool safety cover, suitable if there are younger children present.
Coast/Beach
The Arcachon coast is a 02h21 (186km) drive to the west of Bordeaux, it is worth a visit to walk along some of the 59 kilometers of sand and visit the Dune de Pilat, the biggest sand dune in Europe which is situated 9km south of Arcachon. There are also some local river beaches, one situated just 10 minutes from the pretty village of Aubeterre sur Dronne (14km drive from the house) and another at st Aulaye (24km drive) and a swimming lake at La Jemaye (28km).
Golf
If you fancy a spot of golf you'll find 18 hole golf courses at Angouleme, L'hirondelle golf club (52km) and Perigueux, Marsac sur l'isle (50km)

Bergerac Airport 66km
Limoges Airport 129km (you can usually find cheaper flights to this destination if booked well in advance through Ryanair).
Bordeaux Airport 130km
Angouleme SNCF Train station (52km) if travelling via TGV/Eurostar.
Speed Ferries-Dover to Boulogne, Approx 7h30 driving time to Maswari.

Perigueux, Capital city of the Dordogne, shopping, visit the Vesunna Museum. 50km, 1hr.
Brantome, The Venice of Perigord, Picture postcard medieval town surrounded by the river Dronne, lots of sites to visit, Boat trips, the ancient Abbey, the oldest belltower in France, shops and excellent restaurants, 36km. Caves of Villars nearby with stalagtites/mites & prehistoric painting.

Morning croissant stop, only a stones throw away are at St Paul Lizonne 3.5km and St Severin 5.5km.
Riberac town 12km has all the desired amenties, large supermarkets, banks, restaurants, Friday Market and lots more.
Verteillac 6km has large grocers, cafés, bakery, restaurants, bank, doctors, post office etc.
Canoeing facilities can be found in most riverside villages on the River Dronne, from Riberac to Brantome.
