Well kept south facing 1 bedroom apartment approx 30 sq.m. and located on the second floor of the Les Lauzieres apartment block. The property is served by a lift is centrally located and has direct access onto the ski slopes. Val Thorens at 2100m is the highest ski resort in Europe with the ski season frequently running from late November to early May. There is also an action packed summer season running from July to September.

Bedrooms: 2 sets of bunk beds, one located in separate bedroom, 1 in curtained off area of the living room. Bedroom has a freestanding wardrobe.
Bathrooms: Bath with shower attachment and separate W/C.
Kitchen: Fridge, grill, hob, kettle, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery.
Living Rooms: Spacious room with doors opening onto south facing balcony and views to the Cime de Caron. Dining area with table seating 6, double sofa bed, storage chests, TV, Radio/CD player.
Other: Storage space and coathooks located in the hallway. Ski and boot lockers situated on an adjacent floor.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Pillow, duvets and blankets provided. Guests must supply their own bed linen and towels and clean on vacation of the property.

 

Notes on accommodation
A secure apartment block in a quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the supermarket, bars, restaurant and the leisure centre.
No smoking please.
Children welcome - ski school meets at the bottom of the road.

Skiing
The village is located at 2100m and at the top you are skiing at 3300m, this gives fantastic snow conditions throughout the season. Constant investment has lead to a fast efficient lift system which minimizes queues and gives quick easy links into Meribel and Courcheval. The range of skiing will satisfy all levels of ability from complete beginners through to hardened mogul bashers.

Travel
Val Thorens is a car free resort and cars must be left in one of the designated car parks (The apartment is 5 minutes walk from P2). If you fly book to Geneva, Lyon or Chambery. Geneva is approx. 3 hours, Chambery is approx 2 hours.

Booking notes
Booking to be made with owner. Deposit of £200 to be made at the time of booking. Full payment required 1 month prior to departure. Keys will be posted to you once this is received. Deposit will be refunded once the keys are returned and the apartment has been checked.

Fantastic Holiday. Apartment was perfect for the family, the eldest children left first thing to ski with their friends and we were able to walk to the ski school with the younger two before we hit the slopes.
