Ideally situated for visiting the historic chateaux of the Loire: Chenonceaux, Amboise, Valencay, Villandry, Chambord etc. The area is famous for its fine food and wine and within easy driving distance of many vineyards. Many beautiful historic market towns and villages to visit - including Chauvigny, Tours, Limoges and Poitiers (Futuroscope). For outdoor pursuits there is golf, tennis, kayaking, canoeing, go-karting, horse riding, swimming in lakes and rivers (sandy beach close by), bird watching, fishing and exploring the wildlife of the Brenne Regional Park. It is an ideal location with its gently rolling hills for walking and cycling around the quiet country roads.
