La Vieille Ferme (open all year) originally a 17th century Touraine farm lovingly restored and skillfully converted to 4 well appointed, very comfortable and fully equipped individual houses that still retain many stunning original features and beams. Each house has its own garden, BBQ and garden furniture. There are large grounds, a heated swimming pool (solar panel and heat exchanger) and large open Dutch barn for relaxing in the shade. Ample parking. Cycle hire available on request. On site games include badminton, soft tennis, boules. Conveniently situated in the small unspoiled village of Cléré du Bois with shop, bar/restaurant 2 mins walk away, La Vieille Ferme offers a relaxing, tranquil setting, yet easy access to all amenities. Ideally situated for chateaux, vineyards, Brenne Regional Park, mediaeval market towns etc. Cléré du Bois is situated on the borders of the Brenne Regional Park and is approx 65km south of Tours. Short and long term breaks, B&B also available.

Changeover day
Changeover day Saturdays or Sundays (depending on which property / properties booked) in high season (July/August), otherwise changeover day is flexible. Arrival time is between 4pm - 8pm or outside these times by prior arrangement.

The Grange, originally part of a 17th Century Touraine farm, with stone walls which stay cool in summer and give warmth in winter, now provides luxurious, comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to 8 people. Ground floor: French doors open into a very large, airy lounge-dining room, with huge, old beams. Comfortable seating is arranged around the wood-burning stove. Stereo system and video player. Fully equipped kitchen includes fridge, freezer, large cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Ground floor toilet with hand basin. First floor: Three well-appointed and attractively decorated bedrooms. Bedroom 1: Delightful double bedroom with antique French bed, en-suite and seating area overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside. Bedroom 2: Spacious double bedroom with seating area and large bathroom opposite. Views across the garden to fields. Bedroom 3: Twin beds and 2 bunk beds with en-suite and seating area. Ground floor: Fully equipped rustic style kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker and microwave. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Ground floor bedroom with en-suite - 2 bunk beds and a single bed on mezzanine with small steps up - great fun for children! Many beautiful historic market towns and villages to visit - including Chauvigny, Tours, Limoges and Poitiers (Futuroscope).
