This 18th century grange has been recently renovated to a high standard. The cottage is in a courtyard with 100m² garden. The village has plenty of shops and a Train Station with trains to Paris every 20 minutes, free parking at the station. The area is surrounded by forests and has 7 golf courses within 7km of the cottage.

We are flexible concerning arrival and departure times and there is no fixed changeover day at present.

Kitchen: Cooker, halogen hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and drier, coffee machine, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Living area includes sofa, TV (French channnels & BBC World in English) & DVD & Free Internet WiFi access.

Towels and linen are included. Property is cleaned once a week and the price is €30 to be paid on arrival.

Special interest holidays
We are happy to provide advice and information regarding transport, visits to local attractions and facilities and even book museums, golf courses or other events as needed. Airport and Train Station pick ups and guided tours of Paris and other services can also be arranged at an extra cost. Should you arrive late we can organise a starter pack of groceries, if sufficient notice provided.

Travel
Charles de Gaulle 45 mins drive. Orly 30 mins drive. Beauvais 1 hour drive. The Port of Calais is a 3 hour drive. A car is necessary to make the most of your stay. Car parking on the street outside the property is available and free. There is a frequent bus service to the Train Station.

Distances
This holiday cottage is ideally situated for sightseeing in the area, only 35 minutes from central Paris and its shops, museums and art galleries. It is one hour by RER or SNCF from the Eurostar, T.G.V. and Thalys. It has local rail links to Paris every 15 minutes from St. Nom and St Germain. It is close to the A14 and A13 motorways so Giverny (Monet), Auvers (Van Gogh) and many chateaux, cathedrals and churches are all within easy reach. St Germain-en-Laye 4km. Versailles 10km. Paris 25km.

Local shops including 2 supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, 2 boulangeries, 2 banks, butcher, fishmonger, post office, dry cleaners, 2 brasseries, Chinese restaurant are all within walking distance. There is a thriving tennis club with 8 courts.

Booking notes
Booking is by email to owners and deposit payment can be by UK cheque and final payment can be by cheque or cash in British Pounds Sterling or Euros. A 30% non-refundable deposit at time of booking is required and the remainder when you arrive. There is a caution of £100 held during the stay to cover any damages and returned when the property is vacated.

About the owner
My wife and I are English and we have been living in France for 18 years. St.Nom La Breteche is very close to Paris and is an international community with many nationalities represented. We play a lot of golf (there are 7 Great courses in 15 minutes of the house). We both sing in an international 40 singer choir and perform Classical concerts regularly in Paris and the region.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Opportunity to buy an old farmhouse propoerty with old buildings to renovate and land to turn into a garden. Plenty of projects for us to busy ourselves with.

Unique benefits of the property
Proximity to the forest of Marly, the golf courses of Western Paris region, the fact that its 30 minutes by car to the centre of Paris in the evening and weekends. We have a great town of St Germain on our doorstep and the historic Versailles 10 minutes away
