Large 3 bedroom apartment in Belle Plagne village. The apartment comfortably sleeps 8 adults (60 sq.m.) and comes complete with all amenities. Perfectly located on the slopes with ski lifts and ski schools immediately accessible and resort centre with excellent bars and restaurants a short walk across the slope. La Plagne is under 3 hour's drive in the winter from Geneva or just 30 minutes up the mountain from Aime La Plagne train station (Bourg St Maurice) direct from Waterloo on Eurostar. Chambery airport is just over an hour's drive from the resort. The apartment looks onto the slopes and has 2 balconies with views across the ski area. Paradiski is one of the largest ski areas in the world and now includes the Les Arcs ski area with the Vanoise Express Cable car link that opened in December 2003. With a resort altitude of 2050m the snow record is exceptional, the perfect location for all skiers, beginners to experts.

Changeover day
In the winter season arrival Saturday pm. In the summer, please enquire at time of booking. If you have a specific requirement please contact me direct.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 and 2 with double beds. Bedroom 3 with 4 bunk beds. Further sofabed in lounge (sleeps 2).
Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms with WCs. Both bathrooms with bath/shower over.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer etc.
Living Rooms: Lounge with TV, DVD and stereo. Dining room with table for 8.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen provided, linen charge included. Used linen left for collection at end of week.

 

Notes on accommodation
Apartments heated with underfloor heating throughout. Electric fires also provided. 2 ski lockers available in basement. 1 underground car parking place available free of charge, additional cars must be booked direct. New for 2010 WiFi internet.

Accessibility
Unfortunately apartment not suitable for people with mobility problems as on 4th floor and no easy access in and out.

Outside
Slopes outside accommodation. Resort has all amenities including small supermarket. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Skiing
Perfectly located on the slopes. You ski from accommodation to lift and back at the end of the day. Ski schools meet outside accommodation and the nursery for infants is a short walk away.
The apartment overlooks the ski area giving access to one of the largest ski areas in the world (420km of marked piste) since the new Vanoise Express Cable car link with Les Arcs opened in December 2003. With a resort altitude of 2050m the snow record is exceptional.
Day trips to Val D'isere, Tignes and the Trois Vallés are possible and each ski area is covered on a six day Paradiski pass. The Paradiski area will suit all abilities and has fabulous off-piste which remains delightfully deserted. There is a new dedicated snowboard park at Plagne Bellecote and don’t forget the Olympic bobsled run for the ultimate adrenalin rush.

Special interest holidays
The resort offers numerous activities in the summer, from walking, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, white water rafting.

Travel
La Plagne is under three hour's drive in the winter from Geneva or just 30 minutes up the mountain from Aime La Plagne train station (Bourg St Maurice) direct from Waterloo on Eurostar. Chambery airport is just over an hour's drive from the resort.

Distances
Short walk to Belle Plagne town square and approximately 10 mins by car to La Plagne centre. The main town of Aime can be reached in under 30 mins and the large town / airport of Chambery in just over an hour's drive.
