A modern kitchen ready for the ambitious cook, a very comfortable living area with a woodburning stove that warms the whole house. The garden, terraces and courtyard are all very private, overseen by no-one. All year round the courtyard is a delightful sanctuary to spend time reading, writing, playing cards or eating by candlelight. Estree village wins awards every year for its floweriness! Golfers are spoilt for choice, walkers, cyclists, chateaux/garden lovers, twitchers too! Montreuil-sur-Mer is adorned with flowers and is steeped in historical interest. Just 20 mins away is Le Touquet famous for its beaches, casino, competition golf courses, hundreds of sport activities, chic boutiques and fish shops galore! Wine buffs and gastronomes will be in heaven as this part of France is steeped in extremely fine food and wine shops.

Friends who stayed in July: Thank you so much for letting us stay in your very beautiful house. We became addicted to Le Touquet, the golf, beaches and food-lovers' market. We cycled all over the place and walked the very old walls of Montreuil soaking in the amazing views and the incredible fields full of wild flowers. We relaxed in the courtyard at night eating food bought at the markets. We read, drank fabulous wine and talked. Heaven. I can't believe that this idyllic beauty spot is only 3 hours away from London.
A work colleague and his wife: We were spoilt for choice all week. Our companions flew into Le Touquet to join us for the week. We played golf at Le Touquet and Bay de la Somme, visited the baroque town of Arras, bought unbelievably fresh fish in Etaples, cooked, ate, played Bridge, read and talked into the wee hours in the courtyard. No-one would choose to stay in a hotel once they've stayed at your house in Estree. It's heavenly.
